Chef Frank Bonanno dug into his Sicilian heritage and east coast roots to create this authentic, rustic Italian eatery. Luca has amazing personal touches from the daily made breads and pastas to the meats and cheeses cured in house, to the charcoal drawing of Bonanno’s son (and the restaurant’s namesake) that hangs in the dining room. Luca is heartwarming and satisfying from the wood-fired pizzas to the hand-rolled pastas to the perfectly seared proteins. It’s not your ordinary pile-of-pasta-and-sauce Italian joint; it’s the real (and tasty) deal.

Since moving to Denver from Chicago, it’s been hard to find really good Italian. Luca is not only a great spot w excellent food, but it feels special. The service, the atmosphere, the music. We loved it! Can’t wait to go back

I love bringing family and friends here for celebrations. The service is incredible, the food is rich and tasty, and you get good sized portions for the $.They do add a 22% on top of the bill though which isn’t my favorite.

The rabbit ragu is simply fabulous. The artichoke salad was delicious and innovative. The Bolognese received a great review from my dining guest. Service is outstanding from start to finish. The chocolate cake with cherry gelato was loved by all. Such a quaint atmosphere with a friendly and professional staff. I know it's a fine dining restaurant but there were way too many silverware exchanges. Silly considering the patrons surrounding us were just like us....not pretentious at all.

The food and the atmosphere are incredible. This was our second time at Luca and it was as delicious as the first. Our server seemed like they were struggling a bit as we did wait quite awhile to place our order and get our drinks. A little communication about it would have been really helpful, however, the rest of the staff did a really lovely job of stepping in to help clear plates and keep things on track. Will definitely be going back as our first server was amazing and everyone has off nights.

This was our first time going to Luca - great service and amazing food! You could tell how much care is put in to preparing each and every dish. From the moment we first walked in, the host was very friendly and welcoming. Sydney waited on us and she was very attentive and a genuinely likable person. From our interactions with employees, to the ambiance and food, everything was top notch. We will definitely be back!
