Lovers Seafood and Market is the second concept from Tracy Rathbun and Lynae Fearing, the partnership that produced the local favorite Shinsei.

In an age where independent, neighborhood, specialty shops are virtually extinct, Lovers Seafood and Market is committed to the principles of personally providing our community exceptional quality, fair pricing, and excellent service. We strive for these goals while maintaining both a respect to, and a responsibility for, the health of our ocean waters. We are dedicated to providing products that are delicious, innovative, and globally responsible.

    The dining experience here is usually excellent, food and service. This time one of the cocktails was forgotten, food was slow to arrive, entrees didn’t arrive together and some served to the wrong guests. Food was still very good. This is a favorite go to place for us, from week night dinner to celebration meal. 4/5 times it’s a bullseye- laid back ambiance, great food and drinks and non-intrusive, attentive service. Every so often we get a mediocre experience.

    Loved the food. I have the shrimps and grits and the chocolate cake. The blood orange margarita is amazing

    Great find while in town. Traditional gumbo was perfect and so was the shrimp and grits. Service was great. The valet made parking a breeze on Lovers Lane. Can’t wait to visit again.

    $32 for a salad with zero flavor was super disappointing. Gumbo wasnt great either just no flavor. Best part was the popcorn.

    Food is good, fresh, but not a lot of flavor. Service was great - very personable wait person - however, didn't have fork, spoon for soup, and things that were supposed to be part of the dish - like malt vinegar for the fish - had to try to find someone to ask for these things. It's good - just not great.
