   Service in the restaurant was very good. Could not fault the waitress at all! and the portion sizes were good! Only bad thing was the foods itself was very bland. The chicken tasted like a plain breast, dipped in plain flour which was rather disappointing. Probably wouldn’t go back if I’m honest

   Restaurant needs to update Google to make it clear that they have closed down their Restaurant and are now housed in Red Dog. Food was not good!

   Hot chicken burger had way too much coleslaw in. 'Hot' chicken not very hot. Butchies is better

   When we arrived it didn’t matter that we reserved a table. They have this rule about the manager having to seat you—which was an immediate red flag on how they manage seating. This caused a huge queue @ the front door, which could be what they want others to see…a queue to spark an assumption: “this place MUST be good.” As well it’s weirdly organized with the BBQ entrance being the main entrance. Louie’s Hot Chicken is merely a logo and it’s a dual restaurant serving BBQ in addition to chicken. Not an issue, but does make it a bit confusing on which restaurant you’re visiting. Nonetheless, our server redeemed our impression. I’m going to butcher her name (Leandria) was patient and helpful. When I inquired on something I wanted to order that Louie’s Hot Chicken has on its Instagram, she asked to see the pic and promptly explained it to me. Overall the food was delish! Their pickles are exquisite! The boneless thigh burger was juicy, flavorful and just the right amount of heat. They have a BBQ sauce that’s also amazing. Finally, I’m an onion ring connoisseur and their onion rings were just meh. They were perfectly crispy, nice sized, but it lacked much flavor. A great onion ring is made with sweet vidalia onions, or an onion that also tastes nice inside as well as outside… as it is in fact a fried onion! The onion inside had no flavor, but I redeemed them by dunking them heavily in the BBQ sauce. All in all Louie’s Hot Chicken was delish, has mediocre hostess staff, but a great server who will make your visit enjoyable. Check it out if you like spicy chicken!

   Website menu is out of date. Happy hour and deals on the site were not what we were offered and at the end of the sh with our bill we had to argue our point which was very frustrating. Food however is great.

   Service was sometimes prompt… but staff was nice and accommodating. The spicy level of food was not as spicy as I was expecting. I went for hot but it was just like a tiny hint of spicy. We had 6 pcs (tiny) chicken wings and my friend had the 2 pc chicken with French toast, while I had the El Diablo burger (hot - but was only slightly spicy). The chicken was indeed fried and crispy and really good. But the serving was not good enough for the price you pay.

    Have put one star for food but can’t judge as we decided not to stay and eat after the shocking service (upon arrival we were left standing at the door waiting to be acknowledged for about 15 minutes, before a waitress casually walked past and asked if we were ok?!) and realisation that Louie’s no longer seems to exist in its own right, but is a poor add on to a budget bbq restaurant. Terribly misleading and particularly frustrating when we have travelled across London to get there specially to try some Nashville Hot Chicken. The food we saw on other tables as we left left much to be desired, sorry looking, anaemic chips, watery dipping sauces and sad burgers.
