   I had reservations for Mother's Day and checked in 10 minutes earlier. I was told that we would be seated shortly. After waiting 20 minutes, I re-checked to make sure that we haven't been forgotten. I was told again that they are preparing the table, Noticing the dining room was not crowded had plenty tables open. Finally got seated at 2:25pm. The menu on website was different than what was on our dining day. Jesus, the server was very attentive and service was very accommodating to our needs since we have 2 young children.

   Let's get to the point: I booked it for Mothers Day 2025. The customer service was horrible. Made me feel VERY unwelcomed. Let's call a spade a spade: the girl working the seating station was incredibly unfriendly. This alone ruined Mothers Day for me. She's rather tall, with very long hair. She's easy to identify. Her attitude was that were lucky to be able to have Mother's Day there. I'm not going to get into the food. Before I could offer my opinion, my wife was quick to say the food wasn't that good. That confirmed what I thought. But it's not food. It's the horrible attitude of the girl working the seating station that sealed it for me: I will never return to Pasea. Not the restaurant, not the hotel, not the bar. And I will never recommend this place...due to one snooty girl with an attitude working the seating station. Such a horrible employee who works in the service industry. Disgusting. You ruined Mother's Day 2025. Thank you.

   Our brunch was fantastic however the valet took 40 minutes to get our car.

   The place had a nice view with the oceanfront. However, customer service wasn’t there. 1st the host did seem very annoyed, no welcoming or a smile. 2nd the waitress was not friendly at all. She did not asked if I needed anything after the food arrived late or if we needed anything else. Food, Prime Steak was overcooked. Overall, not coming back to this restaurant after driving for about 2hours.

   Food is expensive and didn'teven taste that good! A Korean chicken for 2 is $55 & a small (very small) fries for $9. The "Korean" chicken is not even Korean, just regular grilled chicken with "Korean" sauce on the side! A $4.99 Rotisserie Costco chicken is much, much better and tastier! LOL.

   Jonathan was the best!! Had my bridesmaids proposal dinner there and the food was so good - we did family style and tried different dishes. Amazing, would come again!!!!

   The food was magnificent the service impeccable, the entertainment of Mindy, singing, and playing her guitar was absolutely California cool and of course, the view of the sunset over the Pacific was amazing. My place every time I’m back in SoCal

    Staff & service was exceptional. Everyone very attentive. Used to be regulars at Tanners which we loved…but we all agreed the food is even better at Lorea. Well done with the renovation & staffing!
