   A true neighbourhood gem. A quaint little Italian restaurant with caring service. Tasty dishes and great homemade Italian recipes. Definitely going again, especially as we love the river walk near by.

   Been to this restaurant several times before with amazing service. Tonight was a bit disappointing, food was still amazing but service staff was not up to standard. The one waitress that was there was run of her feet trying to help or the patrons but her colleague was no help and he just stood behind the counter. To many clients for just one waitress. So sad as we left without dessert as it took over 3 hours to just get starters and mains. Will be back but hope the service improves.

   Quaint little Italian that didn’t live up to the reviews I had read. Can’t complain about the service, professional and efficient but I would say the food was average. If you want a simple Italian go for it, if you want something special this is not it in my opinion

   We had a lovely time in L'olivo, it was quiet but meant we could chat to our hearts content. The food was excellent and the service also We will be back again Thank you

   Very good service and an excellent Italian menu. The fish stew was especially good. Good vale compared to other places in the area.

   We've visited lots of restaurants over the years, including Italian, honestly, this is one of the best. Great service and great food.

    Not a great night unfortunately. I had to order three times before I found something on the menu that they had. My mother ordered the Calamari which was very poor. It was worse than the frozen bags from Tesco. The pasta was good on the whole, but not great. Conversely, the waitress was great. She obviously cared more than the 'chef'. I'd be surprised if this restaurant lasts.

    Thanks for your feedback Chas. To begin with, I would like to sincerely apologise for your negative experience at our restaurant. Sometimes on a very busy night, we run out of the popular items/dishes on our menu due to the fact that we don't overstock our items to keep them fresh. We use fresh Calamari but we do understand that sometimes our customers may not like our food. We hope to see you again in the future and improve the impression we have made on you.
