Drinks, food, and service were fantastic. This is one of our favorite places to go for a date.
Service was good. Food was absolutely horrible. I had to send my steak back twice for being underdone and they threw the same one on the grill and over cooked the edges. Worst $80 dinner of my life
I hate writing this review because it means that other people are going to catch on to one of the most underrated places in the highlands. The service time and time again exceeds my expectations, they really go above and beyond. I take different friends here and each one of them are a special kind of high maintenance. Each time they accommodate them and make their experience the best. I’ll keep coming here because the service is always elevated and top notch, the food is phenomenal.
Good steaks burgers and prime rib. Recommend happy hour for great value-house wine $3.
Service was good but our bolognese appetizer and fried chicken entree special were cold. Our bill was adjusted accordingly, but the food portion of our dining experience left much to be desired.
It was our anniversary and looking for a great restaurant for the special occasion. Our server Ed, was very knowledgeable about the menu and the entire team was attentive. Great place for any occasion or group.
This was the best place I have been in Denver so far as I am makin a move here I wish I could remember my bartenders name but he was cool as heck man and I tried mussels for my first time and loved them now I’m addicted to mussels lol it was a Sunday night around 10 when I was there so whoever it was working give him koodos he was awesome :)
We dine at LoHi Steakbar and it's always fantastic!
As usual, INCREDIBLE steak and all of the trimmings.
We all ordered steaks and my filet was wonderful. I felt the food was good, but when the steak was served it was served alone, nothing on the side. All sides were extra. No bread or anything else was complimentary. The food was outstanding, but service was slow. We ordered (2) desserts but after we waited what seemed a long time we cancelled them and requested the check. The staff was awesome, they even acknowledged they were "off" that night. They comp'd a few items, which was nice.
Over all good food, but seemed expensive for only a steak on the plate and all sides were extra charge.
We were in Denver on vacation for a few days. Wanted to find a local restaurant. Looked online and found this place. Good food and great atmosphere.
Even though we had a reservation, we waited over a half hour for a table for 4. We had a good dinner, but my husband added mushrooms to his steak for $3 and received two small, hard mushroom slivers thrown on the plate. This was our 3rd time visiting but, for the price, will try someplace else next time.
Although the atmosphere is great, our food was not. We all felt that the food lacked seasoning and had very little taste. French fries were soggy and burgers were just ok. My onion soup was good but the crab cake lacked crunch or any real taste.
Overall, it was an awesome experience. Food is delicious and simple. The atmosphere is great as well, very laid back yet classy without trying too hard at either. Great whisky and wine selection, too! Definitely recommend if you’re trying to impress a date without coming off as gaudy
Birthday dinner with family. Interesting cocktails to start. Great wine with our steaks that were fabulous. Very pleased. Our server was great as well.
We had 2 steaks and a bottle of wine. couldnt have asked for a better cooked steak! Fantastic experience all around!
New Year’s Eve dinner. I was very pleased with the quality and presentation of the food. Slight wait past expectations of the reservation we had but certainly worth the wait. Friendly staff, amazing flavors from the seasoning on the steak. I’d also recommend the mixed greens salad and the loaded baked potato!
Mushy Brussels sprouts, and not a great variety of appetizers if you’re looking to start with something light
Took awhile to be seated, even with a reservation, and got very sparse visits from our server for the first hour or so. In my opinion they just seemed understaffed for a weekend. That being said, staff was courteous and knowledgeable.
The food was excellent and (once we found our server to order) came in a reasonable time. Get anything that has the beef demi glacé on it (amazing!). Cocktails were well worth Denver prices too.
Overall a good experience and a place I would visit again, maybe just at an off peak time.
The restaurant itself was beautiful, and service was great. The food was delicious as well, though I would have liked a bit more choices on the menu. The prices were a little high but for the occasional date or special occasion it’s a perfect choice.
Service was excellent, start to finish. They tried to meet my request for quiet table, which is important to us. The restaurant is loud, our sole negative comment. We expected good food, but it was better than good. It was imaginative and carefully prepared. And every bite was delicious. Prices are not inexpensive, but not unreasonable given excellent preparation and flavor. Try the short rib “sandwich” or the beet salad. Both were excellent. Good martini and a nice wine selection. They didn’t flinch when asked to taste a couple wines before choosing, either. We will happily return, though the noise will make us choose our visits carefully, maybe an early Sunday dinner.
I was recommended this place from a coworker. My Family was visiting from out of town, and I wanted somewhere nice to take my mother. This place did not disappoint. She had a salad, I had the rib let sandwich, my brother had filet and my cousin had a burger. All was cooked and presented perfectly. We were greeted and seated promptly (although this was the day after Christmas so not terribly busy). They even gave us a toast on the house to celebrate moms birthday. It was an excellent experience, an I am excited to go back.
So good. Not many vegetarian options but all veggie options taste amazing
Food was fantastic and service great! Great find!
Lohi always comes through on their steaks! Ambiance was great and dinner was perfect. I don’t know if she was having a bad night or what but our server was pretty uninterested and not very attentive to me and my friend. It was just a weird vibe but it felt as though she thought that bc we didn’t order cocktails that we weren’t worth the service. Of course I’d come dine again to Lohi Steakbar, just disappointed in our service tonight.
Fav place in Denver :)
Great meal and celebration for my son’s birthday. The steaks were perfect and reasonable. They made the meal special with a dessert and song. I highly recommend this place!
The scallops were wonderful—not just a steak house . . .despite the name!
Awesome as always! Great new take on food - cauliflower “risotto” - perfect for the gluten-free crowd. Delicious, quick and affordable.
Had reservations at 7. Was not seated until 8. Was not greeted by a waiter until 8:15. Disappointed.
Service and food was wonderful throughout the night. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. Even when tasked with picking a bottle of wine for us that paired with meat when I told him we can't do reds, he introduced us to a type of wine we had never had and it was great! I only gave 4 stars on the food front because our steak was more rare than anticipated. Outside of that, everything was delicious and well prepared.
Can’t get enough of this place!!
Great happy hour, reasonably priced for a steakhouse and delicious steak.
Always a wonderful dining experience at LoHi Steak House!
Our server, Devon, recommended a lovely bottle of Italian wine!
My husband and I enjoyed delicious filet mignon steaks!
Cozy ambience and comfortable dining!
Great service and food!
The steak was awesome as usual.
Food was excellent...Even had my favorite Bourbon Garrison Brothers...When I am in Denver it’s always worth a visit!!!
Unfortunately our server was not very helpful with us. One of our friends had to have his steak taken back and then our server forgot our salad. My husband got the wrong size steak although we paid for the larger one.
As always incredible! Steaks better than Urban Farmer at half the price.
Great experience! The filets were excellent! Cooked to perfection! Service was very good! Would definitely go back
