Amazing as always. One of the best in town. Consistently good from the first day it opened.
Excellent food...no gimmicks just really delicious.
Everything was just perfect. Could not make a better choice for a special occasion.
Excellent food and service . Best tiramisu of all time!
Fine dining during Covid. We had a nice table for 2 outside. Tables were separated and we felt very safe. Food was delicious and portions were surprisingly generous.
As usual, it was a great experience even for the pandemic time.
Great from Start to finish. Every mess is home cooked and will be back soon!!
Wonderful meal, great wine and superb, friendly service with an Italian accent. We ate exclusively from the dinner specials and weren’t disappointed at all. And topped it off an outstanding tiramisu and espresso. Looking forward to coming back.
Great service ...friends of mine dine here regularly and love it. I only had one appetizer so it wouldn’t be fair of me to comment. Fair pricing ...will be back soon to have a full meal
Great restaurant, great food, go for the food!! Have been going here for years
We often come here for lunch!!! Haven't been disappointed yet.
Love this place, Massimo and staff were excellent! I brought a friend of mine who is from Italy there and we sat on the patio and had a wonderful evening. the Wine list is affordable (as it would be in Italy and very good. Had the warm bread and pesto spread, so good, as well as shared the prawn salad, lobster ravioli, and branzino! everything was excellent. Once 3rd street settled down after 830, it was so intimate and again the service is so on point, friendly, and humorous it was a wonderful experience. I will be back!
Massimo was an amazing waiter, he is the nicest Italian from Florence that you will ever meet. The truffle ravioli was to die for! The dessert, appetizers, everything was heavenly. I loved everything about this place. Such a luxury.
The service is excellent!
The food is delicious. My friend is a picky eater, but once he got the first bite of his Pollo al Mattone, he was hooked!!
A really lovely restaurant for lunch. Thoroughly enjoyable
We had a very special dinner here after a routine follow-up medical appointment at Cedars-Sinai where the doctor indicated a clean bill of health and no need to return for four months. We were seated outside but were the first guests of the evening. Private dining and perfect private service. The restaurant has a reputation as one of the best Italian restaurants in the city and really was a treat. We started with the San Remo Salad which was delicious. Followed up with the specialty Eggplant Rolls in a rich marinara sauce which was fabulous. Our main courses were Chilean Sea Bass with lentils and Branzino with quartered roasted baby potatoes and green beans. A glass of Pinot Grecio was very nice too. We had no room for dessert but the expresso was a great finish to the meal.
Always have an excellent service esp Adriane and John and Julio.
While we were staying in Beverly Hills, this was one of my favorites. The service is impeccable! Authentic Italian, and white tablecloths!
the food was salty in general
ordered pasta bongole and linguine was under cooked and luke warm
We have been coming to Locanda Veneta for years and the food and service has always been top notch. We love this place!
Again, a wonderful experience even during this Covid pandemic time. Excellent service and good. Loved it!
I loved the ambiance and the Nothern Eastern Italia food. I highly recommend to any American to try, and preferably the small portions so they can go through the all courses (menu) from appetizers to first and second course, ending with a nice Italian desert and traditional liquor.
Absolutely phenomenal! Every aspect of our experience was amazing
Locanda Veneta is truly one of the best Italian restaurants in Los Angeles! A local favorite of mine, this eatery has been offering a traditional and authentic taste of Venetian cuisine for over 30 years, which is a testament to the hard work and passion that Chef Andre and his team bring to the table (no pun intended). The restaurant offers expanded outside seating so that there's plenty of room to fully and safely enjoy the rich flavors of your favorite plate(s). Lastly, be sure to visit them during Dine LA for one of the most varied and generous menus you'll come across during restaurant week! Buon Appetito!
a vast variety of authentic options for italian food! they have an excellent lunch special value (mon-fri), and dine LA menu was fantastic. their signature dessert, tiramisu, was great, but pricey. service was awesome, i love when places read out the daily specials menu!
Terrific food. I enjoyed their wonderful lamb shank on polenta; my partner polished off his chicken parm with glee. Good value. Authentic Italian, down to the accents on the servers. Seated outside of course; safe distancing. Well handled all the way around.
Had lunch with friends!!! Loved the food and the service. Can't wait to go back!!!
Great restaurant. Excellent food. We love sitting outside and able to bring our dog.
Everything was amazing, from the starters to the desserts! Great service, knowledgeable and helpful staff. The specials were all very good, especially the truffle ravioli and warm pear tart dessert.
It was perfect outside lunch seating for a temperate summer day. Not too noisy and very chill
John, our server, was fantastic! Great personality and we never needed to ask for anything. The Chef, Andre, stopped by our table and we had a lovely conversation with him. The food is to die for as well. We enjoyed the special, for the evening, risotto with shrimp as an appetizer along with the caprese salad. My husband and I then shared the lamb shank and spaghetti with bolognese sauce. Needless to say, a to go bag was in hand when we left. It was definitely enjoyed the following evening. A definite 10!
The grilled calamari appetizer was delicious & plentiful. The Chilean sea bass was likewise friendly to the palate. They kindly gave me extra arugula as a replacement for the lentils.
Some of the best pasta dishes I've had at an L.A. Italian restaurant. The spaghetti with mushroom and shrimp and the lasagna are particular standouts. Our waiter was charming and the outdoor seating was comfortable and appropriately socially distanced. Locanda Veneta is now one of my favorite spots.
Our annual birthday dinner we have had here, every year, since I moved in 2017. Service and food never fails expectations!!
Great food, quaint ambiance and great service. Liked the quiet atmosphere and good choice of wines.
Generous portion of the burrata caprese. Delicious. Dover sole was good, a bit lemony for my taste but that is subjective. Vegetables cooked to perfection. Insalata menu description includes salmon with the pricing. Above it clearly states salmon is an additional charge, but can be confusing if you are not paying attention. We would’ve chosen with the salmon regardless but could see where somebody else may be upset. Service was great. Thankful for the outside dining tables with lots of spacing between. Conveniently located directly across from Cedar Sinai Medical offices. We were seated, ordered, ate and paid the check within 45 minutes which was great because we were between doctor appointments.
What a wonderful dinner we had! The food was delicious and our server was amazing and attentive! We will definitely make this one of our few go-to places.
