Llerena takes its name from a little village in Extremadura, southwest Spain, where four generations of our family has raised Iberian pigs since 1939, producing authentic "Bellota" jamón ibérico, chorizo and other pork delicacies. Our family created a business around the farm called Jamón y Salud to sell our gourmet products and has now brought this exquisite taste of Spain to Islington with the Llerena Ibérico Tapas Bar. Not only can you sample ibérico pork grilled meats and finest jamón, but also creamy Torta del Casar cheese and other traditional Extremadura's delights as well as the best wine from our region.

    We were at a trade show which we go same time every year Looked at the local restaurants an booked a table for two However during the trade meet our friends wanted to join us all together there was five of us The gentleman that took our orders was polite and courteous He recommended the wines an sherries which were the best , also the food we ordered just kept coming freshly cooked an very tasty I would certainly recommend this venue for friendly staff great food not forgetting the drinks

    Fan-tapas-tic!! Lovely long and relaxed tapas meal for 2. Great service - allowed us to go at our own pace.Food delicious and a great afternoon. Highly recommend.

    Went for lunch on a Friday and had a great time. Great service and amazing food. The asparagus were top game.

    Love this restaurant - super authentic from the decor and music to the delicious food. Every dish was *chefs kiss* and service was top! 100% recommend and will be back :)

    Great service, friendly staff. Good wine . Only negative was the paella . Unfortunately, the rice was lumpy and not very much fish for £34. I would have tapas next time I visit.

    Had an excellent Saturday lunch here today (17/5)...Attentive and helpful service, good menu options and the quality of the tapas was superb...Upper Street in Islington has many good restaurant options, but this is as good as any of the ones I have visited in the last couple of years...❤👏

    Really good meal, service and general ambience at Llerena last Thursday. Good choice of tapas, wines and difestifs. Service was efficient and had some good banter with our waitress. Recommended.
