What a little diamond of a place! Will definelty be taking more friends and family there! Lovely friendly staff amazing food . Lamb cutlets melt in the mouth everyone's steak cooked to perfection! That's hard to come by these days! We all had 3 courses and felt extremely content ! Gorgeous resturant

We ordered sea bass, which looked really decorative and was tasty, and mushroom risotto which was fine but lacked the creaminess and deep mushroom taste I would have liked. We both had the cheesecake which was tasty with a wonderful raspberry sorbet which was vibrant in colour and not too sweet. We drank a South African chenin blanc which was fine and nice and cold. The bill was £81.

We loved, loved, loved this restaurant. So sad to see it closed after such a short time. Such is the fate of many independent restaurants in small towns when the chains take over.

We love this local Italian-inspired restaurant. The food is always well cooked and presented, the service good and the menu varied. Have recommended to a number of friends who all agree with us.

The starters calamare, mussels and garlic bread were very good Calf livers and spaghetti with clams and chilli were nice though we would prefer the spaghetti with clams less buttery and more white wine for the sauce. Beef ragu was disappointing because the meat was very tough. Chianti red wine was a gem. There is, however, an issue with the hygiene level. One of our chairs was stained with sticky chocolate and the flowers water were yellowish which need to be changed on a daily basis. Overall, all credits to the waiting staff who did their best with excellent services.

Slight annoyance was that we had booked on OpenTable a fruit salad for a diabetic member of the party. This didn't appear to have been transferred to the restaurant as the waiter looked very confused and said they would see if they could manage to do a fruit salad. I don't understand why the information did not transfer from the special requests box. They didn't know it was my father's birthday either - I entered this information on OpenTable too.
