We had a great dinner
My go to for Asian cuisine in Denver for almost 25 years! Never, ever disappoints.
It's a tough time to give a review. I completely understand most places are understaffed or dealing with entirely new staff, but this was not my normal experience here.
Our server was friendly, funny and genuinely apologetic. He was versed on the meals, preparation and wines.
My Peking duck would have been fabulous, had it not sat for 17 minutes in front of me while I waited for even the second meal to arrive at the table. By the time the 6th person at my table received their meal, it had been 41 minutes since mine was brought from the kitchen. I find that atrocious. The food runner appeared to have no experience (or did not care) and kept putting items on the table and asking us to "just pass them to who ordered them." It became almost comical because he brought out rice for one meal and the entree followed 14 minutes after. It's the type of service I would expect from Fast Casual dining, not from a place where the lunch bill was $500 for 6 people.
The dessert tasted wonderful and the quality I have come to expect from Little Ollie's.
I will return, as I have been eating here for over 20 years, but it will not be soon. This day left a very sour taste in my mouth.
Always have a good experience at Little Ollie's. It was busy (good to see) and the service and food was excellent.
Very understaffed. Took an hour to get food. Only had one bartender for the whole place!
Definitely go back! Loved the food & service was excellent. Only issue was parking but it is Cherry Cheek😜
The food was good but the service was poor. We were essentially forgotten, could not find our waiter and had to flag down the manager to get anything. To add to the experience they reported to Open Table that we did not show up for our reservation. Truly invisible I guess.
Traditional end of school dinner with my kids. Always yummy!
Food was pretty good but the service was not. Our waiter was not attentive and when we mentioned it he didn’t really apologize, merely said the kitchen was backed up and they were short staffed. But they did have 5 host/hostesses at the front desk, which didn’t make sense if the wait staff was low numbers.
Good experience, my first time there and will go back again. They have parking, in a very congested area, so that’s a real plus. Wait staff very efficient and friendly, good drinks and tasty food. Sounds like a winner to me.
Great service and food. I was looking for something healthy and their tofu stir fry was perfect!!
Everything we ordered was very tasty except for the Mongolian Beef, which we found somewhat bland. Service was prompt and friendly, our waitress was very attentive.
Had been there years ago. Quality of food has changed and wasn’t very good. Soup dumplings were cold, pork buns very doughy little filling and lettuce wraps lacking flavor.
Food and service fantastic
Great Asian cuisine reasonable pricing good location right in the middle of cherry creek, nice staff what more can I say?
Dinner with my son and his friends, DU sophomores. Great night!
New Denver, but this has become our go to place. Have had a different item on the menu each time we are there, and everything has been excellent. Today was Pad Thai with chicken and it was as good as the best.
Loved the food and atmosphere! Bar was a little backed up but everything else was timely and delicious!
Amazing Asian food and service!
I have eaten at Little Ollie's several times. During the Covid19 outbreak, I didn't think it would be busy on a Friday for lunch and it wasn't . The service was off, however. My wonton soup was cold and the server told me I wouldn't be charged an extra $2.00 (even though it said on the menu it cost extra). When I asked the server for clarification, he assured me that it was only if I ordered extra. When the bill came, there was the $2.00 upcharge. When I asked the server about it, I didn't get a satisfactory answer. Unfortunately, we didn't leave a very big tip which is what restaurant workers need these days. So sorry.
Always a good time at Little Ollie’s. Food and service was good
Everything was great!
Great server! Very friendly and efficient!
The food was great! We brought a friend with us who hadn't been there in 20 years and she'll be back for more! Best Chinese food in town. High quality ingredients! We had a lovely waiter named Rolando.
Still serving fantastic dishes - I've gone there a number of time over the years.
Food was not hot, usual service, not real excited about returning.
Margot was terrific! Professional, friendly and attentive. The food was very good and we will be back !
I liked the old stir fry menu like cashew chicken and mushu chicken. They have a lot of new choices which is fine.
My friend is a vegetarian so it was nice to have choices for him. Our server was a very nice guy.
Enjoyed the food and appreciated the extensive Gluten Free Menu
Food is always great.
Ability to book table, time was easy.
The host, server et al were very attentive.
Worth your time and treasure.
Great food, great service
I met a friend here and we had great service. I was just not a fan of the steamed pork rolls. They didn’t seem cooked enough and certainly didn’t have enough pork on there for the amount of bread. My friend loved her chicken fried rice!
Little Ollie's provides consistently good food. The presentation for all the dishes was nicely done as well. The wait staff was attentive. We all enjoyed our meal there.
All was perfect’
So disappointed. This was a birthday celebration for our daughter and we wanted it special. Our waiter seemed totally out of it. First, he continually greeted us with "so nice to see you again" but he obviously had us mixed up with other people as it's been over a year and he was wasn't our waiter a year ago. But he KEPT repeating it! My mom wanted a pinot grigio with her dinner but the menu mentioned a pinot gris so she asked what the difference was. He told her the grigio is from Italy and the gris is from Washington! The man needs a lesson in wines! I ordered a sangria and it took well over 10 minutes to get it. The reason for so long? The waiter said it is a "fresh sangria". Hmmmmmmm. I think he forgot. We had a young child with us so my daughter asked if a small dish of rice could be brought out fairly soon for the child. Two HUGE steaming scoops of rice were promptly delivered. I can't fault the waiter too much on this since he's obviously not a parent. The shanghai shrimp was mediocre at best - very little if any flavor. Everyone at the table pretty much agreed that the meal was a bust and nothing worth coming back again. What a difference a year can make . . . from "amazing, looking forward to coming again" to what a waste of time, money and long drive.
Always good, always consistent. Always the nicest servers.
Food was delicious and our server, Carlos, was wonderful!
Denver does not have good Chinese food. We went to Little Ollies on Christmas day. It was very busy as most restaurants were closed that day. I have eaten there about 5 times in 12 years even though I live within a mile. There food is just ok. Our egg rolls arrived cold and greasy. Our Wor Wonton soup was lukewarm. The main course was good. The server was polite and helpful. It is very loud.
