Lilac, the Michelin-Starred Mediterranean restaurant helmed by the esteemed Chef John Fraser, redefines the art of dining. It features signature elements of Chef Fraser's Mediterranean cuisine mastery, explored through fresh Floridian ingredients.

Open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday, the dining room’s open concept, walnut flooring, and glowing pendant globes surround an eight-seat Christian Liaigre chef’s counter and a lively open kitchen, creating a convivial, yet elevated environment. Taking its cues from Fraser’s Greek heritage and his admiration of Turkish and French cuisines, Lilac’s menu is a balance of fresh, seasonal, and locally-sourced items with bold flavors and exquisite presentations.

ABOUT ANGEL'S ENVY BOURBON: In the heart of Louisville, Kentucky, Angel’s Envy was founded by Bourbon Hall of Fame member and Master Distiller, Lincoln Henderson, and his son Wes Henderson. Built on a tremendous legacy and a pioneering spirit, Angel’s Envy innovated the foundations of bourbon and rye through a unique “secondary finishing” technique. By maturing their whiskey in charred oak barrels, then transferring it to secondary finishing casks, we crafted a distinct blend of refined complexity with an inviting flavor profile. During the aging process, the 5% of spirit lost each year is known as the “Angel’s Share.” After tasting their finished whiskey, Lincoln joked that they had finally struck a better deal than the angels. And so, Angel’s Envy was born.

                                                                          The food and service were both exceptional. This restaurant has definitely earned its Michelin star. Inventive, fresh and delicious. What a wonderful spot! It’s a highlight of any visit to Tampa!

                                                                          Such a wonderful and intimate experience. The service was immaculate and the waitstaff was highly knowledgeable. The lemon risotto and pork belly octopus were a savory and delicious start to the meal. Highly recommend the scamp grouper, simple but with a Mediterranean flare. Ordered the chocolate soufflé for dessert with pistachio and espresso gelato. One of the best desserts we’ve ever had.

                                                                          There is a reason that Lilac is receiving it's third Michelin star it is the best place to eat in Tampa. As someone who travels the country eating at the best places I can find, it is my safe haven when I'm in town. I would recommend the four course dinner with the wine pairing. The sommelier on staff is excellent. He suffered through our many questions and curiosities.

                                                                          This was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. From the greeting when we arrived to the escort when we left, it was a 5 Star experience! First of all was the attention to detail. Perfect. The staff had addressed everything. The specialty drinks; wonderful. And then the food... each and every item was a gastronomic surprise...incredible! I can go on and on but the best thing I can say is that if you want to experience one of the best meals you will ever have, Lilac is a must!

                                                                          Fantastic experience at Lilac, food was amazing! Service was too tier and had a lovely weekend getaway with my boyfriend. Jesse was wonderful and extremely knowledgeable about all food options and wine pairing. Next Tampa trip we will definitely be back, one of the best dining experiences we have had!
