   First time at this place. It was a cool location, liked the pictures of what Bend use to look like back in the day. It is priced for higher end quality dining. It took almost an hour for our entrees to come out. The waitress said there was two big parties in front of us, so that is what the hold up was (Friday night at 6:30pm). My entree was not hot when it did finally hit the table. Luke warm risotto....bottom of the plate was warm, food not so much for $19. The waitress asked if I wanted it warmed up, or a new one. I did not want to wait another hour. It was getting late. I was super hungry. Reheated risotto, also not worth $19. Drinks were good. Other than that the attention to detail, value, and costumer service was lack luster. Not sure I would give it another go, unless I was only doing cocktails.

   A place with great potential, a wonderful location, and beautifully served dishes, but my food was literally inedible. I forced my way through the salad which was nearly pure vinegar, but when my seared ahi came, it was so salty that I could not eat it at all. The others at my table could not eat it either, so we asked if the salt level could be toned down (the only time in my life I've sent food back). The chef sent it back out to me completely dry, with no sauce or garnish on it at all. He might as well have come out and told me "F you." It was so hard to believe, we had to take a picture. Meals do sometimes miss the mark and I have no problem with that; but when it's this far over the top that not a single person at the table could gag it down, and the restaurant's response is to insult the customer... well, we won't be going back. The servers were very nice though.

   We enjoyed our Mother’s Day dinner out on the deck at Level 2. Loved our meals...steaks, halibut ahi. All very good. Our server was great...attentive and accommodating. We will look forward to returning!

   Our first time at Level 2. Service was good. Our entrees were good. Deserts lacking a bit. Wine list rather limited. Overall, will return.

    Let’s start with the positive. We dined on a beautiful Spring evening and sat on the deck. The sun was lowering and the setting was great. Our server was friendly and seemed to be very busy, running from indoors to outdoors and table to table. He told us that he was on his second shift of the day, as his replacement had not shown up for work. We ordered a nice bottle of wine and did not sample any of their specialty cocktails, though they were very tempting. The menu was interesting and we found several choices that looked good. I finally settled upon a ribeye steak, specifically and emphatically ordered rare to medium rare and a mahi-mahi entree special for my companion, ordered with the request to be sure and not over-cook. (We neither like our proteins over-cooked.). I ordered one of the half salads with the addition of shrimp on which my companion planned to nibble while I consumed the salad. We then had a considerable wait before my salad was served...without the shrimp. Again, long wait. The shrimp were served along with an apology, and over-cooked and just above room temperature. And at the same time as the entree. The waiter offered to take them off the bill, which they did. Again, the positive...the flavor of the meals was very good. The seasoning was balanced and complementary for both entrees. But the were both over cooked. My ribeye was medium to medium well, and the mahi-mahi was cooked to the verge of dryness. We chose to not send either back because they were edible with good flavor, but what would have otherwise earned at least another star for food, alas, disappointed. My recommendation is that if you have not tried Level 2, go ahead! If you are into cocktails, they looked great. And I think that the food could be very good as well. For our visit, they obviously and admittedly were having some personnel problems, but most restaurants these days have the issue of reliable help. People who were there were great.
