The food exceeded our expectations. They have a nice varied menu with something for everyone. Really enjoyed it.
Great food, service and pandemic precautions. We sat outside, they turned one of the heaters close to the kids as it was quite chilly. Very nice appetizers, the roasted salmon was perfect and my wife loved her noodle bowl.
I have been to many restaurants but the food here has to be the best! The best lamb I’ve eaten was at le colonial!
This was our 2nd time eating here in the last 2 weeks. Everything about our experience was excellent. Will definitely be back
Given the pandemic, dining out right now is a special occasion for us. So, I wanted it all -- great food, a stimulating but comfortable ambiance, attentive, friendly service. And I needed a superb cocktail (or two) and some heat (spicy food). La Colonial delivered all of this in spades. We dined on the patio and felt totally safe. The spicy margaritas were a hit, as were the spicy beef and short rib small plates and the tofu in spicy yellow curry. All DEEISH! Can't wait to go back!
Excellent food and service. We definitely will return!
Delicious! I highly recommend this, I enjoyed it all.
La mejor comida que he probado. Delicioso todo !!
Say on the patio. It was lovely, as always.
Wonderful evening. Social distancing was practiced very well. Really we’re comfortable eating here. As usual the food was spectacular
Consistently fantastic food and service! Nice energy in the dining room without being overly loud.
Lovely lunch on the patio. Food exceptional, as always. Full of flavor. Practicing COVID safety measures.
Very good. Nice customer average people
Our waiter Alex was prompt and friendly. Justin the manager is professional and made us feel welcomed. Food was excellent and tasty.
We decided to try Le Colonial for late night drinks and appetizers. Food was amazing, prompt service and strong drinks. Couldn’t ask for more. I love the ambiance and decor of the upstairs bar area. Highly recommend!
server was disinterested during entire experience,
Great food and atmosphere!
It took 15 minutes to get a coke refill from the bar 3 feet away. The servers were nice but run ragged.
What an awesome experience! A nice ambiance, great service, and some fine a$$ Vietnamese food. Some of the best I’ve had. We will be back!
Wifes Bday basically was basic and marginal. Probably would have been better if we had just dined and not said anything. Pointless to tell a restaurant that charges u $20 for the worse 7 layers 2 oz piece of grit and sugar. Really disappointed with the value as we live in Dubai normally and on every scale they would have been removed from the country.
The main course was just ok. Too expensive for what you get. Nice for outdoor glass of wine and appetizers
Great menu. A little bit of everything for everyone. Nice flavors. Good presentation. Attentive staff. The ceviche was a bit underwhelming. Good quality scallops and the sauce was nice but the shrimp seemed a bit bland... need better quality. Solid wine list. Beautiful upstairs bar area. Will definitely try it again for dinner. Stopped by for a few appetizers and wine before our Nobu dinner down the street. Will give it another chance. Saw several delicious dishes on other tables and guests appeared to be enjoying them.
Horrendous service. They screwed up drinks, and didn’t even ask us if we wanted to order any food. Didn’t come back to ask for additional drinks either, after we waited 30 mins for the drink order to be corrected. We actually left and ate dinner at Steak 48 instead. Shame on them. They were not busy- just more important for them to chit chat inside at the front (internally) than to serve paying customers.
As always it was amazing in every way! Recommended for a great dining experience.
Delicious food!!! The duck is amazing
Pork chops are the best!!!
Excellent experience. Food was perfectly prepared and served as always.
Muy sabroso, agradable y precios razonables, gracias.
Food was great. Service was not bad.
Great place for a date.
The food is very, very good, delicious, it is a shame that you have to verify the bill!! If you don’t you will pay more than the price listed. I was overcharged for a bottle of wine. The price charged was higher than the listed price. It’s not the first time.!!!!
Different and delicious. Includes rice and noodles dishes with pork. Shrimp egg rolls and fried brussel sprouts were great.
Came in about an 45 minutes before my reservation and a bunch of excuses of why we couldn’t stay at the bar when clearly many people we waiting for tables. Overall it’s a great venue but the quality of hospitality is poor and the team doesnt have the skill set to deal with customers. Ownership should make this a top priority and learn to accommodate the covid challenges. Overall poor service which could be avoided. Went across the street that has a different set of rules.
This was about my 5th time to dine here. It’s always been fabulous. For the first time EVER, the service was poor. Our server disappeared for long bouts of time when we needed things.
The food is okay and it’s a little pricey. But I like the environment. The dessert is not good at all.
Had lunch on the last day of HRW. Always my favorite restaurant to visit during HRW week. I also love the ambience of the restaurant. The wait staff is attentive but not intrusive. Great location put on your have to try or have to return list. Great creative food.
Such an outstanding experience. Food, Service, Safety! I will be back soon!
This is a jewel of a place; great food, service, and ambiance.
My wife and I took our daughter for a birthday lunch at Le Colonial on the recommendation of a friend and we were not disappointed! We ordered the Houston Restaurant Week Lunch. It was fantastic! We definitely will be returning!
Le Colonial serves delicious food with tasty spices and it was a wonderful place to celebrate my birthday with my sister!
Fun and delicious!
