Le Bilboquet - Denver
This bistro is modeled after the Upper East Side original — a dining room dressed in white linens, with velvet seats, dark wood, and brass finishes. The Denver menu will include traditional and modern French fare, as well as the house special: Cajun Chicken.
Le Bilboquet is a 6,000-square-foot location at 3rd and Saint Paul has a premier 70 seat patio, a beautiful lounge, a 32 seat private dining room and a main dining room that can seat up to 110 guests.

Not worth the money. Underwhelmed by the mussels and salmon. Super pricey drinks. Given the prices, I would have expected a memorable experience. Left checking it off the list and won’t likely return.

We did like the Atmosphere, great music.
Our server was professional. Food was average knowing the reputation of that place.
But my wife did like her fish. The foie Gras and the steak tartare was not top notch.
I ordered the venison medium rare, and it came to cooked and tough to eat.
I would go back again and try some different dishes.

This was a very nice venue. thank staff was efficient and gracious. The bartender made my Sazerac with style and by the host holding on to by card and running it at the end of the meal I finally won an argument with my sister. "I'm paying for lunch."

Food was subpar and service was awful. One meal was sent back. Food arrived at different times. They were out of many entrees.

Le Bilboquet is absolutely gorgeous! The service was some of the best I’ve ever received in Denver. The food was my greatest disappointment. Everyone had said the chicken was the best! It was like the blackened chicken I make at home with beurre blanc pours over it and a handful of greens on top. Wonderful wine and beverages. I will return for brunch or lunch but expect more for over $300 for dinner for two. The menu is more extensive in other locals
Unimpressive menu for such a fancy place. Signature dish was boring. Service very sub-par.
A very beautiful restaurant with a nice patio, excellent service and good food. I love all of the salads, the salmon, Best French fries (always hot) in Denver! Great brunch entrees. Love going here!

We had the greatest experience! Food and drinks were amazing and the ambiance is perfect! I felt like I had a mini vacation to Paris! The manager, Scott, was very attentive and made sure our experience was excellent. We will definitely return.
By the time we ordered most of the entrees were gone. We still found plenty to eat. I had the Cajun Chicken which is a favorite there. Service was superb as usual.
The crab avocado salad is awful. Overpriced. Small portion. Mushy with very little crab.
Excellent French cuisine in a welcoming casual atmosphere / everything prepared and presented “just right” / Favorite Dining Companion and I had a beets/goat cheese salad and tuna tartare for appetizers, followed by steak frites and duck confit entrees / fave Whispering Angel Rose from the well-curated wine list (many affordable options) / Service is on point and unobtrusive . Overall a really nice, relaxing dinner.

We sat on the patio, which was nice and quaint. The food was excellent, and would certainly recommend to friends. The only reason I'm giving a bit of a lower rating is that the hostess came to our table as we were finishing up and said our time had lapsed for our reservation, and we had to leave - and that someone else had secured the table; however, that was not even the case. We walked by 15 minutes later, and the table was still unoccupied. I have never had someone come to our table and say our reservation time was up and had to leave. If you want to sit and socialize after a nice meal, this is not the place to do it.
Everyone in our party enjoyed the food, and the service was good. We reserved outdoor seating, but the "outdoor" area was completely closed in without ventilation. Our lunch party included two people in their 80's, so the seating situation was uncomfortable for people expecting good ventilation. It was a nice day so there was no reason to have the patio closed in. The music playing was club music, and it was extremely loud at times. Conversation was nearly impossible.
I was so disappointed. I did not have the same experience that I enjoyed before the pandemic. First, in our reservation, I requested a quiet table. No effort appeared to be made to fulfill the request. When I complained about the noise level, I was told “the owners like it that way.” Then, they did not have several items on the menu—as luck would have it, each was one I would have ordered. The server was very pleasant, but it was difficult to get her attention. I am hopeful these problems are a result of the pandemic, so I will give the restaurant one more opportunity.
This was my first time visiting this restaurant and wow, it did not disappoint. Both my friend and I had the poulet (chicken) and this has to be one of the best dishes I have eaten at a restaurant. Our waitress was helpful in recommending wines that she felt we may like. Just an overall great experience during these times when you don't know what to expect eating out during the pandemic.

We arrived a little early but our table on the patio was ready so we were seated immediately. Fortunately, there were few patio diners so we were less concerned with Covid precautions. I loved the heat lamp next to our table.
The food was elegantly prepared and delicious. I had a Cajun chicken dish that was so tender with a side of sautéed spinach. My dessert of Mousse de Chocolat was divine. My husband was equally pleased with his selections.
Service was perfect.
Elegant dining without being stuffy and pretentious. Relaxing and unhurried service with great wait staff.
