Went for Sunday brunch. The penne Alla vodka was nothing special & definitely not worth $34. The smoked salmon pizza was really good. The service was decent. However, the food came out before our drinks. I loved the ambience once a large table of 10 left with their screaming children. Will definitely go back for dinner & give them another chance.

So the food was okay the pasta wasn’t anything out of the ordinary for me. The quality was there though but nothing out of this world for the price. I have reserved the table for a birthday and they didn’t say thing about that. My friend who works at the restaurant let them know it was my birthday and they didn’t say anything. So I wasn’t impressed I would rather go for brunch to this place . The ambiance is very nice

Amazing service, food and drinks. We went in right before the rush, 5:30pm and were able to a conversation on the table. Really beautiful inside, definitely going back for that beef carpaccio, Caesar salad, and tagliatelle Al limone ! Incredible!

Me second visit on the same week. Stephanie Garcia , the manager was extremely helpful both times . The food and ambience was so good for dinner that I had to bring my family for brunch . I just to have them to experience the great gem . Will Definitely return

Such a lovely vibe! Great music amazing yummy food, strong drinks (MY FAV) our waiter was AMAZING!! Only negative thing was host in the front ignore you when you walk in, I understand it’s busy but at least acknowledge the people walking in, it is the first impression one gets. Other than that is was AMAZING!!!!

Where to start.. Everything was absolutely incredible, Kara the maitre’d sat us at a perfect central table where we were showered with culinary love! Chef Luca came out to meet us, after sending us the beef tartar with truffles, he brought out his favorite pasta plate, which was my favorite dish of all, the Linguine Marechiara. An absolute must try. The chicken Dominic was SO juicy and had the best flavors. Verde salad was so fresh as was the procuitto & melon. All around an amazing experience, Kara was a dream and everyone made our night so special! Side note, manager Vincent is a crack up and kept us laughing all evening. Will be dining again for my birthday!

Had an amazing time celebrating our anniversary - the ambiance was amazing and the food was delicious. Amazing service from the time we checked in, until we picked up our car and left. Will surely be back to dine again - I want to try out their brunch menu which also looks amazing!

First, the food was very good! Unfortunately the service was not. Our table was dirty when we sat down, we had to request personal napkin, because only one of us got it. The air condition was dripping heavily from the ceiling, we asked our waitresses to switch to another table, but unfortunately she ignored us. Not sure if we’ll come back here, if we will-it will be mainly for the excellent salad and zucchini.

Title: Disappointing Birthday Celebration Experience Rating: ★★☆☆☆ (2 out of 5 stars) Review: I recently dined at LAVO restaurant to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday, and unfortunately, our experience fell short of expectations. While the food was enjoyable, the ambiance was great, and our waiter was friendly, there was a significant oversight regarding the special request I made through OpenTable. When booking the reservation, I specifically mentioned that it was my girlfriend's birthday and requested a dessert presentation with a candle and the phrase "Happy Birthday." I even confirmed this request with the host upon arrival, who assured me that it had been noted and communicated to our waiter. However, to our disappointment, the requested dessert presentation never took place. It was disheartening to see my girlfriend's birthday celebration overlooked, especially after making the effort to make the request in advance. This oversight diminished what could have been a memorable experience. While I understand that mistakes can happen, I believe it's important for a restaurant to honor special requests, particularly on occasions as significant as birthdays. It is disappointing that LAVO, known for its service, failed to fulfill this request and create a truly memorable celebration for my girlfriend. I sincerely hope that LAVO takes this feedback seriously and works on improving their attention to detail when it comes to special requests. Birthdays and other celebrations hold great meaning for individuals, and it's crucial for a restaurant to deliver on these expectations to ensure a truly exceptional experience. Despite this disappointing incident, I must mention that the food quality and overall service at LAVO were decent. $41 per Casamigos Mezcal shot?! Wow. 1 shot costs almost as the whole bottle in the store. This place is not to be trusted when ordering a basic cocktail without checking menu prices. Totally changed our impression of this place after we got the check. Design is beautiful, food was fine, service felt like it was rushing us as well. Is it worth it? No.

High marks for the valet and te very friendly Hostesses. Our first waiter was very enthusiastic but when he took a break our second waiter was less so. Food: I would have appreciated being told about the small portion sizes. My husband and I got the pasta with the caviar but it was such a small portion we felt we should have gotten a recommendation for an appetizer. The desserts were amazing.

We were seated in a somewhat tight space with a little table for 3 persons considering our food size orders, so instead of ordering more we were constrained to order less. However , there are those other 3 persons seated in a much spacious table with little or less orders. Though we requested to be transferred, to no avail! Not fair!

Booked the restaurant for Mother's Day brunch without realizing that I booked a table in the bar. Which would be no problem if the bar are looked a bit more festive for a Mother's Day brunch. Service was not good; we had to ask for food to be brought out to us. It seemed that they we're not interested to wait on people in the bar area. Will be trying a dinner in the dinning area at some point.

Had high hopes for this LAVO but it unfortunately was disappointed. Thought there'd be some signature meatballs like the Vegas LAVO but they are not offered at the BH LAVO. Opted for pasta but it was cold, the noodles were hard and the serving small. Bought an expensive bottle of wine and although I'm not opposed to pouring my own wine, I thought it would've have been appropriate for the server to pour but she didn't. And, we had to wait over 20 minutes to get our check and another 15 for them to pick up the credit card. We won't be going back.

Overall terrible experience. Food was average. We were not even finished our appetizers and they wanted to bring the main course on the smallest table. No attention to detail. Pasta quality was below average. Appetizers were good. Meatball was good. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The Vegas location very good nyc very good but LA location terrible.

Date of visit: 05/12/2023 Reservation: @6:30 2 People As the chief concierge at a prestigious hotel here in LA hospitality is something I love at any establishment. With that said the host Kara: - Glared at us and didn't greet us (we were the only two at the door) - Ignored us for awhile before asking for reservation details - Made a sarcastic remark towards my guest (it was not the vibe) That being our first time to Lavo, it didn't set a good tone for the rest of the dinner or the TAO Group brand since they pride themselves on their hospitality. Alex on the other hand made up for the beginning and was very attentive and thorough when explaining dishes. Food: - Small portions (fine dining) however quality over quantity is very apparent (packed with flavor) - Oysters were amazing (east coast we love the bitterness) - Drinks were nice and strong just how we like them Don't know if I'd return or send my guests mainly because I don't want them to be met with the typical LA/influencer persona when visiting LA. The restaurant is so beautiful. It was the perfect day with the sun pouring in through all the windows. The design and decor were stunning. Loved the greenery. The food was absolutely delicious. And our server, Julio, was the absolute best!! Very kind, charismatic, and attentive.

We always enjoy dining here but they made us wait for almost an hour to seat us even though our full party was there on time for the reservation. It was very frustrating to have to wait so long and it made us agitated. Once we got seated it was a beautiful experience. The staff should work on table timing in a more organized fashion
