LAVO Los Angeles is a 250-seat coastal Italian restaurant designed for an unparalleled, year-round alfresco dining experience. The restaurant offers an elevated indoor and outdoor dining experience while boasting a spacious sun-drenched dining room with a retractable roof, operable windows, and luxurious Italian furnishings throughout.

The kitchen is helmed by Chef Ralph Scamardella, whose menu balances dishes inspired by coastal southern Italy and influenced by Southern California produce while paying homage to LAVO’s signature Italian classics and his Italian-American background.

The beverage program features dramatic iterations on the classics alongside bold signature drinks. LAVO’s robust wine program complements the restaurant’s Italian inspiration and West Coast locale, featuring a vast selection of Old-World wines, as well as wines from California’s iconic regions.

I celebrated my birthday here today with their Sunday Brunch and we had a good time. We loved our server Addison, she went above and beyond to make my birthday special. Its my second time in Lavo and it didn’t disappoint. My only issue was we had the reservation at 10:45am and it took 15mins before we were seated to our table. Knowing that we were the 1st bunch of guests I was hoping that we’ll be seated immediately. We had to follow up 3x to the receptionist. Overall, I would still say that we had a good experience and I will still come back for the brunch.

Great first experience, especially celebrating our anniversary- didn’t wait too long from our reservation time. Staff was amazing and food was great!

Bar sitting should not be an option for dinner. It’s more of a waiting room.

What a disappointment, the food was mediocre, stale burned bread, soggy pizza, average pastas and the 12 layers cake was the biggest disappointment so chewy with no flavor.

Worst service experience we’ve ever had dining. Made a reservation and still waited 50 min to be seated and waited another 30 min to receive our food. Larger parties who had reservations up to 45 minutes after us were seated first. We had to check with the hosts three separate times to make sure they hadn’t forgotten about us but the host staff was not apologetic or accommodating at all; they were actually rude and sarcastic. Absolutely disappointing experience, especially considering it was on Mother’s Day. While the food was good, I could never recommend dining here after our terrible experience.

The reception team gave us a warm welcome and were so accommodating! Rachel was absolutely AMAZING! The runners were so nice and informative. Mitzi is TOP TIER! This team was curated magnificently. The penne, tuna, oysters, meatballs, beet salad... I can go on- and-on! Great!! Tao group has always been one of my favz— this venue didn't disappoint! Cheers!

It was an amazing experience. Our server Gladys is truly the best. She was very courteous and it was a wonderful dinner experience. The food was amazing. The apps from the bruschetta to the pizza and pastas, everything was incredible. Thank you chef, Gladys and team!
