LAVO Los Angeles is a 250-seat coastal Italian restaurant designed for an unparalleled, year-round alfresco dining experience. The restaurant offers an elevated indoor and outdoor dining experience while boasting a spacious sun-drenched dining room with a retractable roof, operable windows, and luxurious Italian furnishings throughout.

The kitchen is helmed by Chef Ralph Scamardella, whose menu balances dishes inspired by coastal southern Italy and influenced by Southern California produce while paying homage to LAVO’s signature Italian classics and his Italian-American background.

The beverage program features dramatic iterations on the classics alongside bold signature drinks. LAVO’s robust wine program complements the restaurant’s Italian inspiration and West Coast locale, featuring a vast selection of Old-World wines, as well as wines from California’s iconic regions.

The reception team is always amazing! The food is great; love the Penne, my steak was cooked perfectly, oysters were fresh! Oh, the tartare is delicious. Quite honestly—there isn't a thing you can go wrong with on the menu. Conner was such a great server! While Rachel wasn't my server this time, she made a point to come by and spread her warm cheer. Truly a magnificent team with such warmth and hospitality! Salim was equally amazing! I'll be back soon.. Cheers!!

Our experience at LAVO was truly exceptional from start to finish. We were warmly greeted by Adam, who made us feel welcome and at home the moment we walked in — a perfect start to the evening. Our server, Christopher, was outstanding — incredibly attentive, gracious, and professional. He anticipated our needs without ever being intrusive, and his warm demeanor really elevated our dining experience. The food and drinks were just as impressive. The Negroni was expertly crafted, and both the tiramisu and cheesecake were absolutely delicious — rich, flavorful, and beautifully presented. A special shout-out to the team member who served our fish (we didn’t catch their name) — they demonstrated true skill and precision, making the tableside presentation a memorable highlight of the night. From the hospitality to the cuisine, LAVO delivered on every level. We can’t wait to return.

We dined last night at LAVO Los Angeles to celebrate a medical school graduation. Upon entering the establishment, we were judged and never addressed. The 2 hostesses at the front (Nesa and Mihka) just stood there looking us up and down. They never greeted us or even opened their mouths to acknowledge our presence as paying customers. One of the hostesses muttered “Do you have reservations” with an attitude and an eye roll. I didn’t know that us entering the restaurant and wanting to pay for a meal was such a bother to the 2 hostesses at the front. We addressed the issue with the hostesses by asking if it’s a new thing at LAVO to not greet customers at the door. They seemed unbothered by our question and continued to say they were busy and dealing with a lot at the moment. What a professional response from a high-end establishment. We gave them our name, and we were ushered to step aside and wait to be seated at our table. Once the table was ready, one of the hostesses, Nesa, walked us over to our table and dropped the menus with an even raging attitude. She never said “ enjoy your meal” or “ enjoy,” she just walked away as though she was paying the tab on our table. The second we sat, I asked to speak to a manager, and this is where our experience got a lot better. The manager, De Vante, was a pleasure to speak to. He listened and apologized immensely, making sure that we would be fully taken care of that night. The food was great, and our service once we sat at the table was also great. Again, the principal is never to judge anyone at the door, especially in today’s climate and political situation. I understand we live in Los Angeles, but let’s show some class to everyone that walks into a high-end establishment willing to pay top dollar for a meal. Leave the attitudes at home and make sure you are doing your best to provide amazing customer service. It’s just common sense. Again, thank you to De Vante for hearing us out and understanding our situation.

Absolute perfection from very first second we entered the restaurant. Greeted us provided validation up front without us even having to ask for it. Service was amazing professional from our waiter to the mgmt team each person extremely nice and genuine. Service was A+++++ FOOD??! Absolutely insanely delicious and one after another dish came out timely and prepared to perfection. I’d pay double for it all! Celebrated my Bday and they even served us with delicious Champaign complimentary. The cocktails too on another level of perfection. I will be back very soon!!!
