Great ambience, service, and food. We have eaten there numerous times for several special occasions including birthdays, anniversary, and friends in town. It has yet to be fully discovered and in our opinion is the best in Bend / Sisters, and deservedly so. Friendly, attentive, and all the fine touches on each table. My wife and I highly recommend the experience.
We had a lovely anniversary dinner in front of the fire. Highly recommend the bacon wrapped scallops!
Outstanding food. Our server did a great job of guiding us through the selections and we nailed it. The salmon was outstanding!
We find Chops one of the finest restaurants in Sisters County. This time it was the fixed price Valentine's menu and we enjoyed the Filet and Lamb immensely. They have a fine, varied wine list.
We always enjoy our visits to Chops. Brian and Tracy make it special, we feel comfortable and welcome every time.
The Valentine's dinner was superb. I had the Duck and my Wife had the fillet, the soup was absurdly delicious as was the salad and desert (to die for). Brian paired a perfect wine with the dinner that toped it off.
If you haven't dined at Chops, you need too.
This was Valentines Day. Important you do it right :) A little steep, but everyone charges more on Valentines day. Brian our server was awesome, helpful, attentive. All four courses were well prepared. Portions were right. I liked my wife's duck, (had a taste), a little better than my lamb. Both were medium rare as ordered. We will be going back on a regular evening and try the fish and the filet. We live nearby, so nice to know we have a legitimate elegant dining venue in our little town.
Valentines
We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our evening at Chops. The service and food were exceptional. Can’t wait to go back!
Wonderful place, wonderful food and very romantic! What do you want ... not having to fix and do dishes at home ... Wonderful!
This restaurant is beautiful and probably has the potential to be great. Unfortunately, the night we were there they appeared to have staffing issues. Our entrees all came out lukewarm, and our waitperson never checked back to see how the meals were or we would have told him.
What a fabulous way to spend New Year's Eve. The food was great as usual and the prefix menu provided something special for even the most finicky eaters. Once again, Tracy and Jerry hit it out of the park. You will never go wrong with Chops Bistro.
Third time this Fall to visit one of our fave restaurants. Beautiful surroundings in log building, roaring fire, running into friends (that's Sisters for you!). The food is always amazing and this special Christmas Eve prix fix menu was no exception. Beautifully prepared and presented, and our server Brian is the BEST! He's professional but not stuffy, and we felt very well taken care of. Needless to say, we'll be back (again)! Thank you all for creating a relaxing, welcoming, delightful setting. You tick off all the boxes!
Chops Bistro was beautifully decorated for the holidays! That set the scene for a fantastic dinner. Chef Jerry's creations were perfect. The wait staff there are just great!! We love to dine there!
The atmosphere was lovely being near the fireplace. Food was very good and the service was excellent. I would recommend this restaurant and return the next time I am in Sisters.
This place is completely awesome! Best filet mignon I have had in a very long time. Highly recommend
We love Chops! Jerry is the best this side of the mountains. The whole experience eating out at Chops is wonderful
Wow. Table of 5 and 5 perfect meals. the Chef here is great. Full house on a Sunday night but service was timely and terrific. Music in the bar. Great evening.
Delicious food, great service, and beautiful atmosphere...highly recommend!
We were seated in the lounge where many people (15-20) had gathered. A band was setting up to play music. Their was 1 man working the bar area, so he was rushing around getting water & drinks for guests. He was the bartender & waiter. We had ask at the front desk if our table was ready in the restaurant, 3 people working, said they were not quite ready for people in the dining room. After 10 minutes we got up & left. The Restaurant looked beautiful, white tablecloths & fine dishes, but we called to cancel twice, but no one answered the phone. It went to voice mail. So I left a message to cancel our Reservation!
To bad...Looked like a nice place, but staff was not ready to Open on Time to serve the Customers.
Always the place to go for a special dinner. The room is beautiful and the food and service are top notch
They have always had great food, but in the past service was suspect, but we had excellent service to along with the fantastic food.
Had a lovely time! Live in Sisters and always love to go to Chops for a romantic dinner.
Our server was wonderful but the rest of our experience was not very good. Our order got backed up because of the adjoining bar so our food came out very late. I ordered the Filet mignon which came out medium rare as requested but the top of the meat was completely burnt, black and crunchy. There were almost no people in the fine dining side of the restaurant but live music and laughter from the bar. The server was kind enough to not charge us for the wine given our wait. All in all we didn't have a terrible night there but we wouldn't go back.
There was only one server, so service was very slow. The food was pretty tasteless. I ordered pork loin with some weird sauce and my husband ordered duck. Neither one of us were impressed. It's a shame because the ambiance is excellent. We used to go to this restaurant frequently when it was called Ladigo, so it was a big disappointment.
Service was pleasant, but slow - One waitress serving about 12 tables. Steak served barely warm - not seared and not a good cut of meat. Very very expensive for the food & experience.
Best high end cuisine in central Oregon
We each had a nice salad and enjoyed a cocktail and ordered the duck medium rare. We ordered a bottle of blended Secret Squirrel wine, which I thought paired nicely w the duck. The duck was excellent, even though it was medium/well. Great place, we will return.
It is a nice restaurant for a small town. It has a formal atmosphere and they do a good job of trying to obtain high end status though miss the mark from time to time. I certainly liked my meal. My husband mentioned his ribeye had a bit too much fat. But overall it was really great. Kind of hard to make reservations as they never answer the phone, but it is a nice place and the bar is beautiful. A bit spendy but what isn’t these days. I would recommend them for a nice evening meal and a great bar for a cozy spot after skiing or just anytime.
Great place that we really enjoy. Sit in the bar and have a drink or glass of wine before dinner. Or, you can get dinner there. Rarely very crowded.
Limited menu done very well. Excellent wine list featuring primarily American wines that complement the food.
Could have received a nicer greeting by Host/Manager but wait staff was great. Steak was exceptional, duck was tough and lacking taste. Drinks, salads were great. It's all about attention.
Excellent ambience, great service. We will be back for sure.
Food was good. Service was horrible, slow and slightly rude.
Looking forward to many more wonderful dinners at Chops! Highly recommend it!
Wonderful experience! Great food, service and setting! Highly recommend! Salmon and filets were delicious - medium rare just a bit too rare but melt in your mouth delicious!
From the filet to the salmon, everything was delicious and well presented. The dark chocolate cake, which we shared at the end, was really tasty. Our waiter was great..respectful of our timing and perfect in his service.
Our second visit to Chops and this is one of our "Go To" places when we are in central Oregon. Service is friendly, efficient and helpful; food is outstanding; wine list is long enough without being overwhelming with choices from the NW as well as the rest of the world. A definite yes on recommending this to anyone.
One of the best dining experiences I've had in a while.
The cesar salad was very good. The lamb was tough undercooked and poorly prepared. Service was slow and the room half full. The restaurant was highly recomended but failed to meet our expectations for the price.
Wonderful meal! Service was outstanding. If you have a chance check out their bar area too. More lively than the main dining room and you can enjoy the complete menu.
