Larks celebrates Oregon: its farms, orchards, creameries and wineries offering dishes that excite and surprise with freshness and flavors.
Larks is my husband's favorite restaurant. We came here for his birthday and had a few friends join us who also have birthdays in November. The restuarant changed up their menu for fall and it was very good. The beet salad had more greens with terragon added. We all agreed it was much better than the old recipe. I tried the risotto. It was very tasty and filling. The only thing I would have changed was add some more meaty mushrooms to the dish. It was difficult to find any. Everyone else stayed with their old favorites of meatloaf, chicken, and fish tacos.
The fall sangria was very refreshing. Everyone loved the sorbet and ice cream, which was on the house, for the birthday crew.
Our server was great! She was very professional, which was appreciated, since my one friend is "prim and proper".
I can't wait to return again in the near future.
They only issue we had was that my friend, who I treated to lunch for her birthday, asked for ranch dressing, that never came. Finally after the second request, it came. then she asked for the dressing to be boxed up with her leftovers and ketchup was included instead. It wasnt her day for ranch dressing! Overall food was lovely.
I love the food at Larks, from the info about which farms the food was sourced from to the awesome menu ideas and great service! It is always an amazing experience.
We had one night in Medford before heading out. After reading many reviews online, we opted to give Larks a try. We were not disappointed. The food was fresh and they had a nice menu. They also had some unique cocktails too.
If you are looking for a good meal, give them a try.
We went before the theater at 5pm so it was very quiet. Good food and value as usual. one of our go to places
Larks is one of the best restaurants in the entire United States. I have visited every state in this great country and I would be hard pressed to make a better recommendation. Chef is phenomenal!
Our meals were terrific and the service was perfectly attentive! Thanks for a special occasion!
felt like the dining room at an upscale senior living facility
Dinner was excellent, staff was attentive and wonderful. Will be back again and again.
It is infrequent that food is this good, the ingredients this high quality and the portions so generous. Really wonderful service only bested by amazing food.
Another great meal from the new team at Larks Medford! Diver scallops for one, classic burger for the other - they have something for your appetite tonight. Delightful music from Paul Turnipseed enhanced the experience!
The mimosas were mostly juice, asked for a strong one which was not done
On the Benedict's hard to find ham or crab
Asked for eggs medium and the whites were not cooked
The food was very good and well presented though the salad was overdressed; entrees of fish (3) were very good; there were some tasty and well done starters and appetizers.
Excellent food and service. Worth the price and our effort to drive from Seattle.
We went for our 40th wedding anniversary. As always, wonderful experience. Top notch service, tasty food. A real highlight of the evening was the Pan de Elote dessert. BRULEED SUMMER CORN CAKE, BASIL MACERATED STRAWBERRIES, LIME RICOTTA GELATO. A very enjoyable evening. Do not be in a hurry as the service is very relaxed. Not a complaint at all. We really enjoyed the low key evening.
Meh. I found the menu to be just OK. The ambiance is good, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. Way too many ingredients that seem to be there just because they're trendy. I don't need pretentious names, peppers on my fish, and salad dressings that are so hot you need a fire extinguisher. It was hard to find anything on the menu that I liked. Keep it simple, give the diner choices that aren't so trendy, and not fully realized. I live in Grants Pass and Medford is the "big city" but we have so many good restaurants in my town that I'll save the drive next time.
We LOVE Larks. So disappointed in quality of food change. Must be a way to make other cuts in budgets.
We love the amazing creative and locally sourced food at Lark's Kitchen and Cocktails! The Umami Burger was like no other! Staff was SO very friendly, and attentive. This is one of our favorites in Medford. Our elderly (93 years young!) mom appreciates the quiet conversations that she can have in the spacious booths. Thanks for great ambience and food!
The food was amazing, the service was fantastic and the atmosphere was fun. I wish it was closer to my home. I will go back when I'm in the Medford area again. It was very delightful.
The service was outstanding. Our server was very helpful and knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions about the contents of the menu. The meals were very well prepared, and were very flavorful. We totally enjoyed our experience. Will return soon.
The food was amazing. We had many tastes of delicious wine, and the meals are works of art. And for the service, it was great and relatable.
Our party of 5 people were all very satisfied
With their dinners. Service was very good! We will return again!
The service was excellent and the timing was very pleasant, we did not feel rushed.
Food was superb and wine list varied. Thank you for a pleasant evening.
I will definitely be back...very good service and everything...Food was exceptional
Sure do miss the French Onion soup. Would LOVE to see that return to the menu.
Food was okay some dishes more interesting (hash, salads) than others (omelette/tuna melt) . The omlette was particularly disappointing, small and looked/tasted like made with egg mixture instead of fresh shelled eggs. Complimentary scones were dry but might have been tasty if fresh. Atmosphere is really cool. Would be a nice place to grab a cocktail maybe.
We are longtime customers of Larks. Last Friday was the 1st times we were disappointed in the food. We have the Cobb Salad often. We understand you are between Chef's. But a Cobb Salad is a pretty standard 'recipe'. The Bacon was less than your standard. Blue Cheese was almost nonexistent. Presentation clearly was not on the menu, but again, we understand you are between Chef's. The Turkey on our two salads was fatty and watery. Packaged, processed meat is like that. Also, not up to Lark's usual standards. Lettuce was surely in abundance that day. The only part of our salads that seemed to be fresh and local.
Restaurant manager, Tim, is also gone. We miss Tim. Many changes for Lark's in the past few weeks. We will not give up on Lark's. But, we were surprised to see that there was this much struggle to keep in step when you have these hiccups that all restaurants go through on a regular basis.
Basic items in a Cobb Salad need to be inventoried no matter who the Chef/Mgr is. Surely there is an Asst. Mgr to keep inventory current. Or here's an idea, how about the person that signed the old Manager/Chef's check keep inventory current. Aren't there 2 Lark's restaurants? Did the 2nd restaurant suffer as well? Guessing not. Guessing the Ashland location Cobb Salad did not change. Just simple things like this. It's almost like Lark's is not counting on return customers. Maybe Lark's is counting on today's customer thinking the Cobb Salad is good and they will come back based on that. I am here to tell you that our Cobb Salads were about as good as we could get at any other institutionalized restaurant. Very Average. And I don't think Lark's wants to be known as Average. I know when I brag about the lunch/dinner/Happy Hour, I sure don't describe Lark's as Average. I always describe it as far and away the best food in town.
Michael was our server last Friday. Michael is awesome. We have had Michael several times. He makes our day each time.
Again, we will be back to Lark's.
It's about time they quit serving blue hair food over there. The menu is awesome. I've had four of the main dinner items now and four appetizers. They were all
The fried chicken and the meatloaf were fabulous. Our only problem was the stairs to the restrooms for an elderly person. The other restroom on the same level was quite distant. Other than that it was quiet and we enjoyed ourselves.
I booked Larks for a bachelorette party and received amazing service. The staff was very attentive and accommodating and we had a great time. The food was also delicious. Highly recommend!
Our party received excellent food and service. Will definitely return!
Was not crowded but service was lacking. Was disappointed. The panna cotta looked very nice but was more like a good chocolate pudding.
Staff was very knowledgeable of the menu and very personable. We completely enjoyed our experience.
Good for Medford but not Gourmet.
Very disappointed. I have eaten here before but will nit go back. Nothing was very good.

We have eaten at the Lark in Ashland a number of times either while attending an Ashland performance or traveling through on our way to visit family in the Northwest area. Could not get a reservation this time but in the process found out about Larks Medford. Had a wonderful meal. Stephani was a delight, very responsive. She knew a great deal about the menu items and local wines. Will definitely return.
I ordered the tuna melt sandwich and it was okay, but I couldn't taste the cheese. The waitress was sweet, but she got my order wrong and she kept giving drinks and food to the wrong people. Otherwise it was a good experience.
Thank you for your feedback. We are looking to share an exceptional experience with our guest and it sounds like we could have done a little better job. Our standards for food quality and service, are top priorities at Larks, and we appreciate you making us aware of this missed opportunity.
Always enjoy the “down home” cooking. I’ve fallen into the rut of routinely requesting “Lark’s Meatloaf” and never disappointed!
Larks new menu and preparations are outstanding. A level above anything else available in Medford. We had a superb dinner - pork belly (perfect), broccoli, halibut and diver scallops!
Excellent food. Quick, polite, service. Very nice atmosphere.
