    Great location. Enjoyed seeing the boats come and go and it was a beautiful sunset over the lake. Really liked our server. He was nice and attentive. The food however was disappointing. The shrimp were rubbery and the scallops had a slight funk taste to them. My wife had the blackened redfish with ettoufee. It was better but the fish was over cooked and dry. Love the location, not so much the food.

    The fried zucchini was perfectly prepared and a very large portion. The ribeye was seasoned well and cooked exactly to my request. The meat was slightly fatty and I had to grab a random server after waiting about 15 minutes without acknowledgment. She was lovely and apologized and treated us like gold the entire time. I’ll definitely go back.

    I absolutely love dining at Landry's. In addition to the great food and service, the backdrop of Lake Pontchartrain is the cherry on top! Great for a first date, business luncheon, or part of your self-care day.

    Was horrible ! We were seated outside and sat there for 30 min without anyone coming to take our order or even give us a drink ! Then we went inside to see what was going on ? We moved our seats to an inside table sat there waiting another 15 min before anyone came to take order ! Finally placed order two appetizers and two entrees! The waiting continues! All good was brought out at the same time ! I told the waitress we wanted appetizers first and she said yeah I know someone forgot to run them ! Food was cold and waitress was horrible would never go back

    Today was my step dad's birthday. Every year we come here to celebrate and every year we have an awesome experience. Our server(Chester) was friendly, attentive and made sure we were happy with our experience. Looking forward to my visit.

    Horrible experience! It was our 45th wedding anniversary and the hostess didn't even have our reservation or check us in on the APP. The restaurant had 1,300 reviews so I thought it would be good. The food was okay and terrible looking overdone, brown looking not fresh looking. The table the hostess was going to sit our party of 6 at d a pole next to it. The hostess said the other hostess was new so she couldn't ask her to smile or be polite. She had no control over her cold, distant unfriendly behavior. No eye contact. The bill was over $350.00. Not worth it. The server was sweet and friendly that was the only good part. We went somewhere else for dessert.

    Be mindful when you make a reservation. They may not have a table inside for you and will take you to overflow outside. We ate at 98F outsie. Luckily there were some fans blowing, but not the experience we were hoping for. We were a party of 8 and not everyon's food was ready at the same time. Prices have really gone up since we last went.

    Last day in NOLA dinner and it was the worse experience the entire week. The hostess was rude to start. We were seated outside. Table was dirty and not set. Had to ask for silverware twice. After we ordered our food, we never saw our server again. Food came out dry from sitting under heat lamp. Talked to a manager and he was worthless. He could have cared about our experience. Don’t waste your time or money.

    It was busy on Father's Day, and the food was okay. What I've noticed is that you are no longer offered bread ( you must ask), and there are no green veggies on the menu - just root veggies. If you want a salad, that's an up charge, and there's no more refillable salad. The portions on everything have gone down, and the prices have increased significantly. Options are limited at best. The quality of the experience has slowly diminished, and that's disappointing. While I understand that the economy has shifted, that's no excuse for eliminating the quaintness that enhanced the previous experience.

    The waitress we had could not problem solve anything. Before she started taking any drink orders or food orders she literally told us that she feels overwhelmed already. We were not hard to serve at all and we made it easy for her to manage our group of 6 at the table so we thought. Any questions we had she would not attempt or try to answer without running to get the manager. It wasn’t anything hard at all. Far as my food, it came out wrong twice so I didn’t eat at all which took forever to get it. The on duty manager was great but the waitress made our dining horrible! Landry’s has always been our go to for Father’s Day weekend dinner but this time the atmosphere was off. The hostess was not friendly but I’m going to say maybe she was overwhelmed with all the people that were coming in to dine. I hate writing a review like this but it was really an awful experience this time around.

    Unfortunately we made the mistake of dining on Memorial Day. From what our server told us the kitchen wasn't prepared at all for the business and ran out of just about everything. I was told on 5 different occasions that they were out of something I ordered. I finally ended up just settling on something just because it was all they had. No oysters, out of 4 of the 6 fish on their fresh catch menu, etc... On top of that the service was less than stellar. For the price I feel like their are a lot of better options in the greater New Orleans area for seafood and a worthwhile experience. Never saw a manager the entire time we were at the restaurant. It was our second time giving them a shot and we probably won't make that mistake again.

    Marco is a professional waiter; he was great. The Raspberry Lemondrop was delicious. The gumbo and the entrees were not temperature hot. The shrimp and fish were not tasty. I enjoy the Landry’s Select Club app for the $25 birthday gift but otherwise we wouldn’t come back.

    Landry’s is a great place to eat outdoors when it’s nice out and you want a view of the harbor/lake. I honestly wouldn’t go to the other location since there are better food options around, but the lake location is nice because of the atmosphere. Servers were very nice. Food was good. Loved splitting zucchini app and pasta with my husband. We were bummed that happy hour was only at the bar…

    I have been to Landry's on the Lake Front on numerous occasions mostly for the views. The food generally is "acceptable." Regrettably, I went one time too many. We ordered corn & crab bisque, and cedar plank salmon. The soup was a darker shade of brown and didn't look freshly made, but it was edible. It wasn't served hot. We weren't finished our soup before the salmon arrived--much too soon for it to have been freshly prepared. I had never seen salmon that was all white before. When I went to take a bite, it was so dry that it crumbled like a piece of cake. We sent it back and ordered the seafood platter. The fish on the platter came out hot and reasonably tasty. The fried shrimp were dry (butterflying small shrimp didn't help) and had no taste--obviously frozen. The fried oysters were okay, except the bigger ones were mushy because they weren't cooked long enough. The french fries were dry and cold and uneatable (so easy to get right if anyone cared in the kitchen). The manager came over when we returned the salmon and proceeded to explain why the salmon was actually good, it was just prepared in a different way than the other 100+ times I've had cedar plank salmon. By the way, the plank of wood had no marks like it was cooked over a fire or even in an oven. It tasted like a freezer-burnt piece of fish that was partially cooked hours before and then heated in the microwave. Apparently, they had the janitor filling in for the chef that night. To top off the evening, the manager never came back to check if the replacement meal was adequate. I'm a management consultant by trade, so only go to Landry's if you don't care about the quality of your food and how it's prepared.

    Very satisfying evening. Our helper Maya was outstanding, considering she was working on Easter Sunday. All five of us enjoyed every thing we ordered. We were really glad we chose Landry’s to spend a beautiful Sunday evening.
