Our experience at Landry’s was absolutely phenomenal! My now fiancé and I went there Saturday evening right after he proposed and the service and the feeling of being made special was more than either of us of could ask for. We will definitely be coming back for many more years to celebrate our anniversary of being engaged! Our server Mink was the sweetest person ever and definitely one to ask for! Made the service a billion times better with her sweet personality!

Service was good, food was excellent. But, the minute we were seated, there was a little girl that was there selling candy bars at our table. Not sure if it was one of the servers kids or whomever, but it was a little offputting to start. It was very loud in the restaurant, I had booked it as a special occasion, but it was not recognized, even after I asked if they had a specific birthday or anniversary dessert. Also, my husband ordered his meal, wanted rice instead of mashed potatoes, and they charged him for a full side. It’s the small things that also matter.

The meal and service were both so good that we decided to order a second set of food “to go” to take home for dinner later. What a nice experience in a lovely atmosphere with highly trained and expert staff. Thank you to all involved!

I spent 4th of July in Galveston and made reservations at Landry’s and so glad I did. The server was amazing, energetic and attentive to my needs. I ordered the oysters for starters and was very delicious, then I ordered the Seafood Americana for my entree. The food was flavorful and the night was so lovely. My boyfriend ordered the mixed grill entree. He did mention the bacon wrapped shrimp may have been overcooked but overall he enjoyed it. Their Lemon drop was good as well, I will definitely be back.
