Tom, the owner, always stops by to make sure everyone is happy!
Everything was great- ambiance, food! Most impressed -vine selection and how knowledgeable bartender Dilia was in Spanish vines and how perfectly she picked our vine for dinner!
We eat here every time in Naples. Great tapas and the best paella anywhere. Nice atmosphere and warm staff. Highly recommend
La Moraga has become our favorite “go to” restaurant in the Naples area.
Consistently high quality on every performance characteristic.
For Sunday brunch is was very quiet, but maybe because St. Patrick’s Day was the day before and people weren’t going out. Waitress/staff were very nice and accommodating. The chicken & churros was delicious and well presented. The Short Rib Hash was just alright, it felt like it was missing something though. French fries were great, lightly salted. Good bottomless mimosa deal.
Excellent experience. Jamon De Iberico de Bellota is very good and the duck is fantastic. Service was great. It’s a nice place. I enjoyed to come back.
Awesome! Wonderful service by all. Great bar - so nice to be served with a smile! Everyone that worked there was great! The food and service were fantastic! We loved it and will be back again. Little pricey but very, very good! There were four of us and we all loved the atmosphere, the food, and the service. The food was amazing. I have never submitted a restaurant review, to each is own, but this place, in my opinion. Great everything!
Last night of vacation splurge and it was so worth it. The waitstaff was knowledgeable and kind. The food was amazing.
This was our second dinner at Lamoraga, but it won't be our last! The food is excellent -- creative preparations, good ingredients, great flavor -- and the service is very good. Great place to dine before or after a performance at Artis-Naples. Highly recommend.
Too noisy. Paella was terrible. Too fishy tasting and no spice more rice than anything almost tasteless if it wasn’t for the tiny pieces of sausage. Mashed potatoes were to dry and tasteless Steak was ok. Octopus wasn’t grilled enough and the beans had no flavor. For the price it was very bad. This was not our first time in the restaurant we feel the food has gotten worse. Your chef needs to add more spices to his food. The paella. Was terrible ☹️
Wouldn’t recommend Lamoraga. Small plates not that good (compared to tapas in Spain). Didn’t really like the Paella either. Wine list to expensive. No good white wine choices by the glass (only one Spanish option). Sangria (red) only fair compared to Sangrias in Spain on a recent trip. The fact that it was so empty in the height of the season not a good sign. Liked our waitress.
Very friendly staff
Very good restaurant and a great meal. Tiffany was very helpful with menu suggestions. Can't wait to go back.
Excellent Tapas, followed by great entrees, and better than average desert (and choices). Flexible in accommodating requests for menu substitutions. Well at the upper end of what we are prepared to spend on dinner — but well worth pushing the boat out. If you are a fan of Spanish (or Spanish-influenced) cuisine, La Moraga is for you.
Known for Tapas, but great for many things. Really enjoyed the Gazpacho.
A Gem for sure. Unexpected food and ambiance in Naples, thought we were in Miami. The tapas were amazingly tasty and creative.
We’ll be back for sure .
Appetizers are a terrible value. Entrees are a much better value.
We really like this restaurant. The menu is quite diverse, and (this time) the service was excellent. Our group of six could not have been happier with our overall experience.
Excellent, friendly new owner!
It was great, we all ordered something different, seafood stew fish special, pasta special and tenderloin steak We all remarked How wonderful the flavor was and we all left full. One of the best meals we’ve had in Naples.
For a very pretty restaurant with good food, the service has got to improve. We arrived at 4:10pm and didn't finish until 6:10PM. We also had a Birthday coupon which was hard to redeem (finally done by Manager), but no-one even wished us a "Happy Birthday". The mussels appetizer, salad and duck dinner and fig tart dessert were all top notch when they finally arrived. The place could also use some more smiles and pleasantry training to give it some class instead of a bar atmosphere.
We were there for a pre theatre birthday dinner. From the greeting at the door, to the server and manager who came to check on our table, all were impressive. That said, we ordered the eggplant appetizer which we felt lacked in flavor and we became just a bit worried about how our dinner was going to taste. We ordered a halibut special and a chilean sea bass dinner and they MORE than made up for what we didn’t enjoy about our appetizer. We couldn’t stop talking about the flavors and how the chef got it right! We had the chocolate lava cake for dessert and it was perfection. When I made the reservation, I did make a note that it was a birthday dinner. It would’ve been a nice touch for someone to mention it. We will definitely return. Great food, great service and lovely ambiance.
Another great meal. We will return again and again.
Food was just okay; nothing to write home about
Really not worth the money
Great food, great value during happy hour on bottles of wine!
GREAT FOOD, OPEN ATMOSPHERE, FRIENDLY AND FUN
IT IS WORTH IT, ENJOY!
This is the 4th time we dined at Lamoraga. The service is consistently good. The bartender is excellent, and the restaurant has an open, airy ambiance, with high ceilings and lots of windows. The food is always good, especially the fish and the Spanish dishes.
Garland is a Rock Star -- great intro to LaMoraga. Tiffany excelled in friendly, professional, knowledgable service and recommendations. I've already referred to friends as a "must dine" here!
This was our first visit at the recommendation of a friend. It was a wonderful dining experience. We were seated outside and enjoyed a great meal. Some of us shared tapas and sliders and I had the grouper entree. Our server was very busy but was available whenever we needed her. We will certainly return.
First time ever we had to reject an entree. The duck was tasteless.
Awesome for brunch! Beautiful decor!
Really enjoyed our cocktails and dinner. It seems like there is less "tapas" than the last time I went there and it is more geared towards entrees. It isn't cheap, but a fun place with great drinks.
We chose this restaurant on a Saturday night to celebrate with visitors. We had to wait 20 minutes beyond our reservation time due to other customers who had already paid their bills but chose to sit and chat. A special eggplant appetizer was recommended but was disgusting. We all love eggplant but could not eat this (our waitress didn't even ask if we wanted something else nor was it taken off our bill). Our party ordered a variety of entrees, from seafood, pasta and steak and every dish was just okay. Even the desserts we had were average. We all had been looking so forward to dining here but were unfortunately disappointed.
This was my first time visiting this restaurant. We frequently travel to Naples and had heard good things about the restaurant. My overall assessment was that the food, service, and experience were not commensurate with the price. It took our server about 10 minutes to make first contact after we were seated. My wife’s filet steak was over cooked to the point that the flavor of the meat was overcome by a charcoal taste. The short ribs had way too much fat and gristle. We spent over $200 on dinner and wine service....there are better options in Naples at this price point.
Ask for Gian. He was amazing. As long with his recommendations!! Great food
Very innovative menu, nice presentation & good food.
Our waitress was superb. Unfortunately by 7 PM on a Saturday night the noise level was deafening! There is nothing in this very contemporary restaurant to absorb the sound!
We arrived early and were seated right away.. the gazpacho was delicious .. my short ribs were hot , delicious and plentiful..my husband’s Andalusian stew was a large , full,of fish and shellfish portion .. we shared the molten chocolate cake with ice cream . Beer was cheaper than anywhere else that we had been . Only complaint was the noise level
Four of us dined there on a Wednesday night. We had 6PM reservations and were seated immediately. As we were dining with friends we hadn't seen in quite a while, we wanted time to catch up. After ordering drinks the waiter came back several times to ask if we were ready to order. When we asked for more time, he was absolutely fine with that and left us alone until we wanted to order. The food was delicious and the waiter was attentive without being pushy.
Overall, our experience was good, however, the server wasn't familiar with the early bird menu. We had booked early, at 5 pm, to enjoy the early bird menu and had to ask for it.
The calamari appetizer was tough and mostly the tentacles were served. We felt a bit rushed from one course to the next as we were out to enjoy a leisurely meal. Other than that, the food was good, as was our overall experience.
