   Great Sunday lunch at Lamberts. Food was excellent, with creative use of well sourced ingredients. Service was friendly and attentive, and atmosphere was lovely and relaxed. Highly recommended.

   Went for a Sunday Roast. Best roast i have had in a long time. Very good indeed and service was top notch. Thank you.

   Fabulous food as always, and service that was attentive and friendly. It was my fifth visit to Lamberts, and I had a thoroughly good night. The highlight was the PERFECTLY cooked 32-day aged rump steak with dauphinoisse potatoes

   Really good fresh food, well cooked and a great little restaurant. Definitely one to return to and I highly recommend.

   Went for tasting menu to celebrate Valentine's day. Food really good,especially the three chocolate puddings. We also decided to go for the wine selection which were also very good, although you would have to know your partner pretty well as the dessert wines were shared. Except for the two large parties who were quite noisy it was a fabulous evening.

   This was the second time I've been here, and the serfice was slightly less good than the first time: they forgot the madaleines with my friend's creme brulee and forgot to give us the (cheaper) set menu price for the bill. But it's easy to pick out the bad points isn't it; both times I've been the food and wine is fantastic and thie first time the service was good - my friend changed her mind about her main course part way through, and they allowed her to swap at no extra charge.

   Great as always. Food is really lovely and service just the right pace. I went with some friends and i am sure we will go again, and again....

   Lamberts has a lovely atmosphere - quite intimate yet not too quiet. Its reasonabky orices too for such a nice restaurant. I was disappointed by my starter of smoked pork loin on celeriac remoulade with caper crackling. I guess I was expecting pork crackling and instead got a very hard wafer that didnt taste of much. The smoked pork and celeriac on their own was good but the celeriac overnpowered the pork. Main of mallard with game roll and endive was amazing however as was the wine.

   Dinner at Lamberts tasted fabulous as always. Although minor details seem to be slipping - my entree came out with cling film still attached. Loved the cocktail of the day and desserts.
