It was hard to get a reservation, yet there were many empty tables. The food was very mediocre. The ambiance was blah. It is a karaoke/bar. I would definitely go there for drinks and karaoke, but definitely not for the food.

The staff was fantastic. The host and waiter both came by frequently to see how we’re doing. The food was great as well. The calamari was crispy and delicious. The steak au poivre was as tender as they come. Frenchy burger was nice and juicy, paired with a Caesar Salad in place of fries. The only drawback was that setting sun was shining into our faces, but our waitress went outside and positioned an umbrella to shield us. The relief was immediate. Overall would love to come back when it’s open mic for karaoke.

Actually, I was just looking for a karaoke place with private rooms. Like I've enjoyed in Korea and Japan. My party fell through, and there were just two of us going to check out the place. Ie. Mohammed to the mountain. Our server was excellent, friendly, and attentive without hovering. Our food was well prepared. The braised beef was succulent and tender. The duck confit linguine was just right. We ordered the daufin wine from cote du rhone, France. No w/c visit and, didn't order from bar. Never did any karaoke. I'll be back.

Went back to LALA for lunch on a Tuesday and were pleasantly surprised to get 20% off the entire bill—every Tuesday! The food was delicious as always. We had the Fresh Bowl and the Red Snapper, paired with two glasses of Pinot Grigio. A great lunch spot, just around the corner from Hyde Park. Definitely a win!

Came here for Easter Brunch and got “endless” mimosas. Was served one mimosa per hour because the bar was backed up and had no glasses apparently. Then they proceed to run out of champagne. Not coming back everything took forever and they were not prepared at all. Waiter was very apologetic but still a waste of money.

Came for the steak frites, steak was good- needed salt. Fries 9/10. Tuna and shrimp both good.

Our server got our order wrong and we were placed right next to the speaker which made it hard at times to communicate. We asked to turn it down a few times and it never happened. Still, a fun place to go with friends and the food is excellent. Will certainly go back as I believe the couple of issues we had are because it recently opened and they are working through kinks.
