BYO curry house serving Pakistani cuisine. Established in 1995, Lahore Karahi is a family-run restaurant. Despite the complexity of our dishes, our recipe for a great evening is simple: mouth-watering food, a lively atmosphere and close friends. Because we don’t just want to make great curry, no – we want our food to bring people together.

And we think it does. When you come to Lahore Karahi on any given evening, you’ll hear friends laughing, glasses clinking and food sizzling. For us, that’s mission accomplished. If that sounds like your kind of evening, then you know where to find us.

When it comes to London curry houses, our name has been dropped in a number of top-ten lists (a top-five too, actually), but we don’t like to rest on our laurels – we’d rather you come and taste for yourself. We make food that’s quick, flavourful and affordable, so whether you want to stop by for a sit-down meal or grab a takeaway, we’re certain we’ll be seeing you again.

Been a regular at Lahore Karahi for decades! Food is consistent with friendly staff. Thank you to Atif and Farhan for great service at our lunch on Saturday.

Booked a week in advance to bring my mother and my elderly grandmother for Mother’s Day lunch. When we arrived there was no one to notify we were here so I walked past the long queue to the counter and told someone in the kitchen we are here. He didn’t care we had a table booked and told us to wait in the queue. My grandmother cannot stand for long so I went back and asked someone else who said he’d prepare a table. Service was terrible, rushed, without care and inattentive- they didn’t take our order for over 10min we had to flag a waiter. We ordered meat and veg samosas and the waiter brought 1 portion mumbled and walked away. As one member cannot eat meat we waited a long time to ask the waiter which samosa he just brought. After asking twice we cut it to find it was meat and they forgot to take the veg samosa order. When we asked for it they said it’s finished, but another said it’s being made. They brought jug of water with no glasses, asked 3 times for glasses. They brought out the wrong order for channa and the bill deceptively charged us for the sauces which isn’t on the menu as a cost. The waitress quickly removed it after I pointed it out. Food is fine but service was awful, they clearly couldn’t handle the over crowding as no matter if they are busy they shouldn’t make a table of diners feel they are invisible. Won’t be back in a hurry.

Over crowded in the venue with those waiting for a table standing next to my table the entire time. It felt a bit like a conveyor belt, was in and out in 30 minutes despite ordering starters and mains. Nice food but it wasn’t an enjoyable sit down meal. Wouldn’t be coming back in a hurry

We loved the food and the staff were helpful and attentive. I found the restaurant clean and well maintained. 💯👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

I had heard really good things about this place and was expecting to be blown away. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the case. It appears this might be a one off but the service and the food was poor. Our starters and mains were all abruptly dumped on us all at one time. The starters we ordered were cold and felt stale (samosas and onion bhajis). The Naan, papodoms and chutney were the only things that were okay. Then to the mains: The mixed grill meats were extremely dry. But the worst was the chicken tikka, if you can call it that. It was just cream and food colouring, really disappointing. The service was okay, but overall just a terrible experience.

The food was amazing as always. However, on this visit the portion sizes were very small and despite having booked a table (which gives a 2 hour slot), we were asked to leave promptly after finishing after about 1 hour. We weren't even asked if we would like deserts. I would go again because the food is great, but the service took away from the meal experience.
