We set reservations for 8:15 and didn’t get seated till 9:00. Granted it was New Year’s Eve. We had multiple groups go ahead of us that didn’t have reservations and also checked in after us. This was upsetting and rude. There was another couple we striked up a conversation in the same situation. The reservations didn’t work that night. I hope this is helpful feedback.
We had allotted over 1.5 hours for dinner in order to give us time to dine before jumping on our Polar Express train ride. Even with a reservation, our party waited 30mins to even get a staff to take our order (this is with me getting up twice to ask the manager to get someone to take our order). Then we waited another 30mins to get our food (yet again to ask if they can get our food to us b/c of our train ride and with me offering to pay for our bill in advance to speed up the dinner experience). Leaving us only 15-20mins to eat our dinner and rush to catch our train ride. Overall it was the worse dining experience that we had. Mind you we had 2 kids and 4 adults. Because of this experience we will not dine here again.
Didn’t love the food or the service at this place. The service was quite slow and the food was average, at best. The atmosphere is nice and the location is good, but nothing else about the place really stood out.
One of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had. Did not honor the reservation time and then instead of apologizing That their open hours or incorrectly stated, they were rude.
The shrimp stuffed pablano chilies were so spicy I couldn’t eat them, so I traded my husband who had the shredded pork . The pork was tasteless and dry. It was pretty disappointing.
Great service and fun atmosphere in old town!
Won’t go back, the food was okay but the service was horrible! The waitress took forever, we ordered our first drink and it didn’t come out until our food came out. We tried to order from the bartender to get it quicker but they said we had to go through our waitress. It was horrible overall. Save your money and time and go somewhere else!
We had a really fun time being that it was Cinco de Mayo and very loud. We got right in with our Open Table reservation. The service was really good. I’ve never been a fan of their chips but their salsa is very good! And the food is satisfying as well. Plus, who can go wrong with a live mariachi band!
I enjoyed the food and had okay service considering the restaurant was packed. We had hot fresh chips and they made adjustments in my order even though it was very busy. We will go there again.
Noise level in this restaurant on this particular day was terrible, they had a candle making event right next to where everybody else was eating instead of separated like it should have been, ambience was terrible as was the service as were the drinks, food was just all right. No I will not recommend this restaurant to any of my friends and no I will not be returning.
would not recommend this place so sorry so sad, bar was not stocked could not make our drinks, not grapefruit juice no tito's bar tender very nice though, waiter was nice too, food was terrible and very cold.
I know Mexican food that is cold when you get it, who'd of thunk it. Called early said there would be music, that is why we went on Friday night of all nights, got there no one in the place were told manager was going to cancel music, i said thats why we came, then later the very nice cute bar tender said they are going to have music a little later, well it took too long sorry so sad, I would not recommend this place there are so man other better Mexican Resturants in this city.
The food was not appealing to the eye and was bland. We visited on a Friday night and most of the tables were empty which should have been our first clue to move on. The staff was pleasant and service was good. We also ordered margaritas which were definitely made with the cheapest tequila available. Recommend skipping this place.
Food was so-so but our server was especially nice. We made reservations on open table about 8 min before we arrived and were immediately seated. We sat in the screened patio that was warmed with nice powerful heaters. It was more quiet than inside and, being upstairs, we had a great view. They did shoo us out though pretty quick after we had paid. That was a bummer.
