Our waitress Jennifer acted as if she didn’t want to take care of us. Never read the specials. Forgot our drink order many times. Food was not great. I ordered the chicken and it was dry. My daughter said her pork chop was ok. Dessert was a microwaved chocolate Bundt cake. I would say if you want a great meal choose a different restaurant across the street. We choose this restaurant because it was close to where we were staying. I was upset we didn’t go back to Da Vinci!!

We enjoyed the food but the service ruined our experience. We felt that from the time we ordered the waiter just wanted us out of there so he could go home. We arrived at 8 for an 8:15 reservation. Feel that if they want diners out by 9 pm posted closing they shouldn’t take a reservation later than 7:30. We never felt so rushed to finish our meal and then when half way done he was asking about dessert and mentioning the end of the night. By this time, all we wanted to do was leave. Maybe he was having a bad night.

The menu was quite diverse, and the specials of the day were outstanding. My husband ordered one of the specials which was papardelle with mushrooms and he added shrimp to the dish. There were several varieties of mushrooms and his meal was superb. I ordered one of the other specials which was shrimp and scallop risotto with a touch of lemon in the sauce....it was served with 3 large scallops which were tasty and tender and 3 extra large grilled shrimp...delicious! My husband also ordered the clam chowder to start and proclaimed it was the BEST he had ever had....and we are from BOSTON....where clam chowder is famous! The service was impeccable and our waiter Juan M. was most attentive throughout the meal.

The four of us had a terrific meal - the tail fish, pork rib and veal marsala were terrific. Our server Sara was very attentive and great on answering questions and making suggestions. Unfortunately, we were in the small, front room with about 7 tables. The guests at the table next to us were nearly screaming / yelling during their conversation - so loud that we mentioned it to our server, who informed the manager who came into the room to observe. Another table behind us was also exceptionally. Those two tables ruined what would have been a great evening for the groups at the other 5 tables.

Sadly our visit here was a grand disappointment. The waiter was either new or had numerous tables inside as his attention to outdoor patrons was lacking. Our $60 bottle of wine (severely overpriced) was left to sit in the sun as he repeatedly forgot to bring a chiller to our table. Our salad was delivered and after less than two mouthfuls our pasta was brought to the table??? Needless to say our salads wilted in the sun and heat and was a waste of money. Our pasta seemed to have been leftover from lunch. It was soggy and floating in water. Definitely will not return. If you want an exceptional Italian meal with ultimate service and reasonable prices you need to visit Sale e Pepe!

We sat outside, so the noise was a little louder, but not unbearable. Our dinners were excellent! Whenever we come to Marco Island this is one of our favorite restaurants to go to, it’s always a must. Dinners & drinks have always been great! We will continue to keep coming back.
