    We really enjoyed our dinner at Cliffhouse. The service was great and the food was outstanding. We ordered the Ceviche app, and the tuna and filet entrees and everything was prepared perfectly. Would definitely recommend.

    I have lived in La Quinta for 3 years and just last night went there for my Son's Birthday. I could not believe what a GREAT!! place it was.. From the time we walked in the restaurant, everything from the Service to the food was the BEST!!

    The ambiance is fantastic. Our server, Michael was professional, friendly and provided the utmost care in customer service. The welcome when we arrived was warm and inviting. The restaurant is just beautiful, clean and organized.

    Everything was So good. Beautiful patio nestled into the mountainside. Great wine and a good price. Food was excellent - I had rigatoni and my date had short rib. Server was so great. I’ll be back for sure.

    We were celebrating our Anniversary and we had a nice table by the window. The complimentary dessert was a nice touch to end the evening. We were pleasantly surprised that they had Empress Gin available.

    My wife and I had a wonderful evening at this very scenic And unique restaurant. From 3:30 to 6:00 they offer a Sunset menu which gives you a coice of 6 menu items Including steak and salmon, salad, and bread. Food was Top notch, reasonably priced. Actually built into a mountain Many diners eat outside. Highly recommend.

    Husband ordered a caesar salad. The Parmesan was served with the rind. Husband sent it back. A very mediocre salad, dressing seemed shop bought as opposed to home made, not tasty at all. A very poor show. My braised short rib was fine, not much flavour to the mashed potato, the sprouts were nice. All in all, very disappointing indeed. Expensive for what it was.

    Absolutely fabulous ambience. The food was excellent (Sea Bass & Ragu) the rocky cliff, the waterfall, and trees lit from below all worked synergistically to create an amazing experience.

    Loved the outside patio. Attentive wait staff. Definitely opt for the bread basket. Tuna was outstanding. Would recommend the Smoke and Oak drink if you want to try something different. Filet Mignon was a bit overly salted for my taste but cooked perfectly. Overall a great experience.

    We were celebrating our 33rd Wedding Anniversary. What a great experience! The staff was excellent and the food was delicious. We’re happy we chose the LaQuinta Cliffhouse.

    I had my dinner at the inside dining room, which had beautiful views, great ambience, and was very quiet. If you want something a little more lively, go to the outdoor tables near the bars. You can’t beat the price on their sunset dinner but make sure you go there when they’re serving it as it is a daily limited time special. The salmon was very tasty, a small portion, but perfect for those that don’t want to overindulge. Had it with a glass of Cabernet and made for a wonderful evening… Service was also amazing…

    We have wanted to go here for a while and finally had a chance to go. 1) Expected Dress code -Business Casual. Not so. Hats, jeans, shorts were worn by 50% of the patrons. 2) Service was horrible -very unprofessional 3) After waiting for some time, We asked where our dinner was ? 4) It finally came. 5) The food was really good! Lots more to say but overall very very disappointed. Will not return.

    We ordered the steak tacos. Not very good. No sides is salsa, guacamole, or a lime. The steak was over cooked and chewy. Also ordered the ribs. Very fatty

    Love this place. Spent the late afternoon on the outdoor deck enjoying the happy hour. Got a bit windy so be aware that dining outdoors can be impacted by the wind. Happy hour has some excellent choices and 1/2 priced wine on Wednesdays is a great way to go. Food was excellent and we shared. Desserts were a bit under whelming.

    Our dinner last evening at La Quinta Cliffhouse was great. Following cocktails, for an appetizer we shared a Shrimp Cocktail (five large prawns) followed by our entrees, Seabass and Braised Short Ribs, with our Rombauer Chardonnay. For dessert we shared a Creme Brulee. All food items were tasty,delicious and perfectly done. Our Server, Andy, was outstanding.....efficient and attentive!

    It was a cool evening but we decided to eat outside on the patio. With the heaters going and the full moon with the beautiful patio lights, it was the perfect experience. Then there was the delicious food. We both enjoyed the short ribs with a bottle of Pinot Noir. It was the perfect evening.

    Wonderful venue. Outside seating was so beautiful and festive. Not loud either. Some entrees better than others but overall a very nice experience. Would definitely return on another trip to La Quinta.

    I presented a $1- Opentable reward Card and the manager told me it does not work. I called the number on the card and the gentleman told me they tried to put thru the entire cost of my dinner instead of $10. I gave the phone to the manager to speak to the representative and work it out. The next thing I know the waiter gives me back my phone with no comment. I was given the bill with the entire amount charged to my regular credit card. The manager Lauren Ciano was nasty and told me that that was the end of the story. Basically for $10 they lost a regular customer of 15 years . Not smart business

    Came here with family Friday after Thanksgiving Day. Restaurant was very busy. Knew that fish was on the menu when we walked in. Room we were in was a little too noisy so not easy to visit with someone sitting diagonally across the booth, which seated six of us at an oblong table. The food was delicious. Service adequate but not overly attentive; the waiter was and friendly and offered suggestions when asked. I would definitely return.

    Thanking reservations. They served cold food and neglected to say they were out of stuffing and cranberry sauce. Service was slow but that would have been fine if the food had been decent. I had waited all day to enjoy dinner and no real apology offered. They did remove the 1 dinner charge after it was retuned to be reheated but it came back with hot plate and cold food! Happy Thanksgiving! NOT

    We had a very disappointing experience on Thanksgiving evening. With no advanced warning there was no stuffing or cranberries for the Turkey dinner and no sweet potatoes for the pork chop dinner. The Brussels sprouts far exceeded ‘charred’. Dry and tasteless. Only 2 of the 3 offered desserts were available and the portion size was very small. Down right pitiful. We did start out our dinner with good cocktails, though overpriced, and good soup and salad. The service was good though I felt bad for our server who constantly had to tell us all the items they were out of after delivering our dinners. Considering the overpriced Thanksgiving dinner price, you at least expect all the food to be served as the menu advertised. Absolutely no accommodation was made for the poor experience we had. Never again.

    Ran out of two out of 5 pri-fix menu items for Thanksgiving dinner. As well as out of stock on dessert ordered. Even though they confirmed our attendance three times. Doing the right thing would have been to tell us in advance versus us wondering what we were missing once the order showed up.

    I totally get that I went on Thanksgiving night! The place was packed. However, with the exception of my physical surroundings of the restaurant, everything else was lackluster. The wait time was longer than expected and I saw a few people leave before getting their main course. When the food did arrive, half of the food was cold. My friend’s plate looked like a child served it up. How hard is it to give you a full scoop of mash potatoes?? The staff were apologetic for the wait time, but my server spilled a third of my cocktail onto the floor and didn’t make any attempt to right the situation. Almost hoping that I didn’t see it. I would definitely not go back again for a holiday meal, but may give them another chance on a regular night….if I couldn’t find anywhere else to go.
