So good, I’m going back tonight!
Nice Happy Hour menu and waiters.
Wonderful setting with beautiful art and spacious outdoor dining area!
We were scouting this location for a monthly Rotary Hollywood social and will definitely put it up for consideration.
Beautiful place great service but needs a little music outside👌🏻
Excellent hostess at check in; excellent waitress as well.
Food well presented snd delicious. Great crostini’s!!!
It is our go to for a nice casual chic happy hour during the week, or a nice evening out with friends. I've been coming here since 1991, it's nice to see it enjoying a bit of a comeback!
My favourite place to hang out during Covid. I love the living room lounges in the open space!
Andrew is a bad server and we didn't had a good experience. This is unfortunate since we always had excellent service in the past as we visit this restaurant very often.
It was amazing
food is okay and very basic the outside seems cool but the inside seating is not the greatest.
We don’t get out to West Hollywood much anymore and were looking forward to a nice dinner. We requested an indoor table as the outside ones seemed really packed close together.
Our server was very nice and polite, but everything else was just disappointing. Our table glasses were murky with fingerprints, as was the candle holder on our table. The food was all sub-par and they made a whole to-do with our bottle of wine where someone in a suit had to serve it to us - did not offer a taste, and it came after waiting forever… our first course showed up before our wine did. The food was low quality and tried very hard to be “upscale”. We ordered the crostini which seemed like it was prepared the night before and still cold from the fridge, the squash blossoms that were overly cornmeal-coated and the tuna tartar which was poor quality and had apples in it. We also ordered the mussels which were just ok. Everything needed salt and we had to ask for butter with the bread.
This is a good restaurant for instagrammers who enjoy mood lighting…. Most people seated around us were just taking pictures of themselves and not really talking to each other or eating the food they were so busy photographing.
We will not be returning.. but if you are a food blogger, the lighting might be fun for you. Basically if you care more about looking like you enjoyed yourself than actually enjoying yourself, you could pretend this place was worth it.
Open Table has an area where you can note special requests or special occasions. We were celebrating our anniversary so I made mention of that. I specifically requested early seating at La Boheme, so that I could have a somewhat quiet "romantic table". After dinner, I wondered why I even bothered to mention the occasion. The hostess who greeted us with the manager standing right next to her read my special note out loud, but never said one kind word about the anniversary. She could care less. It was all business. We were sat at a table closest to the aisle where every server walked to and from the kitchen with food. Not the romantic atmosphere I was looking for.
Our waiter was good, and so was the food, however it just didn't feel special at all.
I have eaten here pre pandemic a few times, but this last time will stick with me the most
Our server Lindsey was incredible. The live band was a wonderful surprise and excellent.
Food was awesome, drinks were great. Service was nice
Love it here!
Had a great dining experience here, will definitely comeback!!! Love the mussels, crostinis, oysters , octopus salad and the charcuterie board.
Great atmosphere. The outdoor space is really pretty and inviting. Our waiter was lovely.
Menu and food are very inviting. It is not very refined. The starters were original but not tasty. My main course was a $40 filet mignon so you would expect something amazing. Food was not hot enough and the outside of the filet mignon was pretty hard. As for desserts, the panacotta is again very original but not tasty. We also took the matcha green tea lava cake, which was not a lava cake and not good.
Reception desk was a bit of a disaster. It took a while to be be helped, but the worst is that they couldn't find our reservation despite our confirmation. However, they found us a very nice table.
I will definitely go back for the ambiance but not necessarily for the food.
The ambience is A+ .... I just wish the food was on a par with the ambience. While I appreciate the attempt at creativity the quality just doesn't meet my standards. Salmon was overcooked. Cocktails were only "just ok."
The vegan squash blossoms were amazing as well as all of our food and we love the outdoor ambience which was perfect for social distancing. We had great food and everything was fairly priced. Highly recommend
That rib eye was off the charts!!! AMAZING! Will come back for sure!
La Boheme is absolutely one of my favorite go to happy hour places where I love to meet up with my girlfriends. The prices are right, the food is yummy, the service is always great. The hostesses are also lovely. Bailee was our server and couldn’t have been more sweet and was perfectly attentive. Thank you ! We’ll be back soon.
We were going to show our out of town guest about what an “old Hollywood” restaurant used to look like; unfortunately, seating was in the patio and not inside. We were disappointed we couldn’t be seated inside. The outside was nice, service was great and food is always outstanding.
The Ambiance was absolutely stunning, great service has a great time for brunch with friends.0
I have been wanting to come here for a very long time. So I decided to have my birthday brunch here. The host that sat us was very rude and didnt understand why we didnt want to sit in direct sun. He moved us to a dirty table with an attitude and reminded us that we have 90 mins in a snarky way. Since it is my birthday I was not letting him ruin my vibe.
Our server was AMAZING suggested great food to try. However all of the food photos on IG is what brought us there and NONE of what we wanted they actually had on their menu. Again, the food that we did have was AMAZING.
For dessert we ordered the bread pudding. It came out with a huge sparkler on it that is usually meant for bottle service. The sparks were flying everywhere. It did not blow out. Then it popped and hot confetti came out. This was sooo close to all of us. We also had kids at the table. A piece of the hot confetti landed on my arm. Being being a server a hundred years ago didnt want call a manager. I just wanted to pay the check and leave. Not knowing that the confetti that landed on my arm actually burned my arm until I saw it bubble up after we had left.
Would I come again? Maybe. All and all the drinks and the food were amazing. I just had a really crappy experience.
WAY TOO LOUD! We sat inside for brunch on a Sunday and had to scream to be heard over the awful music they were playing at max volume.
Pretty limited menu but from what I’ve tried, everything is excellent. Seafood is fresh and the food is not only aesthetic, but also delicious. The ambiance for outdoor dining is great, with live DJ and moody lighting.
Very fun vibe with great food and drinks. Definitely plan on going back.
The place is so festive and wonderful! Outdoor little rooms are all surrounded by trees, twinkling lights greenery and various types of furniture as well as tables. The menu is rather restrictive in that you can order Crustini with different toppings. Small plates, 6-8 entrees a couple salads, or dessert. The building next door to the outside dining area has music and though I didn’t go in there, it seemed like it would be fun. I would go here again for a lunch, or dinner that was not to be for an extended period and was not to be too expensive, which will make it a go-to for me more often.
10 out of 10… The food was fantastic, the drinks were great and the atmosphere was lively!!! Will definitely be coming back!!!
Yes it was loud, but we liked the live band! Inside is very nice. Next time we plan to sit a bit farther back from the live band. Menu is relatively simple, but the food was very good; my salmon was perfectly cooked, pasta was very tasty, everything was good. Would go back.
Totally a great experience all around. Tasty & fun!
Went for my birthday, super cute outside it’s trendy, inside much fancier and ole Hollywood style
Ordered second cocktail. It took so long to be served I cancelled the order.
Service was great
Food was good
Place was lovely
Our server Alex was fantastic while we watched the drag show on Sunday and had a birthday brunch for my fiancé. He paid close attention to our table and made sure we were never without anything. Good was okay. I got an overpriced salad full of just greens but I will order something different next time. As always, bottomless mimosas never disappoint. Beautiful space, lovely chandeliers, amazing brunch spot. Seems this place has really stepped it up!
Great Ambiance. Food was delicious. Service was great.
It was a beautiful evening on their marvelous "new" covid dining area. I haven't been here since before the pandemic and this was just wonderful. Our waitress, Baylee, was also terrific and the food, of course was wonderful as usual.
What a beautiful experience. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with so much kindness. The host even acknowledged my request to be near a painting and did her best to make sure we had a great experience. Ryan our server was super kind and helpful and knew exactly how to cater to what our table needed while us gals were deep in convo. The food was epic and I can’t get enough of that blossom! All in all it was a beautiful experience and I can’t wait to go back.
A great restaurant, what a pleasant surprise!! We will definitely return. Everything was just perfect!
