A 2024 & 2025 MICHELIN Star Restaurant. Kōsen, which translates to "ray of light", embodies brilliance and enlightenment. This philosophy is reflected throughout every element of the dining experience, from the carefully crafted menu to the striking design. Kōsen seamlessly blends tradition with innovation, delivering a refined Japanese concept to the vibrant Tampa Heights district.

Experiences include our Signature 20+ course Omakase at our Chef's Counter, and multi-course Kaiseki menus in our dining room. By Executive Chef Andrew Huang and Chef de Cuisine Alex Chamberlain.

Kosen is a fun experience all the way through. We enjoyed the menu and plan to go back and try the other side of the restaurant at some point. I highly recommend this for anyone who enjoys a surprise and likes to try new things. Or if you are someone with great expertise in cuisine then you will find everything to be a treat.

Not good.. the servings were so small.. the food wasn’t that good.. you get charged a ridiculous amount and it’s so small no wonder it’s never booked

The food was interesting and the service was impeccable. It is of course, rather expensive, but it was definitely worth a trip.

Excellent experience. We had the non alcoholic drink pairing and they were amazing. Very creative! The food was excellent with the Waygu, Duck and Red Seabream as my favorites. But they were all good dishes. Service was on point. Highly recommend

Exceptional experience. Highly memorable, delicious, and honestly great value for $300 per person. So much food. Would do it every week if I could!
