   First let me say that food was great, chef Mike performance was outstanding and also Dimon, our server. Even though we end up leaving the place almost at 1am after Mother’s Day dinner. So this 1 Star review go straight to the restaurant Management that didn’t honor reservations times. We were 8 adults plus 1 infant and a toddler, we were booked for 8:30 pm and end we sat down at 10 pm. I understand that you accept walk ins in between but , specially in days like these, you cannot make people with reservations wait for Almost 2 h past their booking time.

   If have a reservation be prepared to wait until your table ready. We had a reservation at 7:30 it took an hour and half

   Mother's Day at this resturant was a mess.. Our chef was amazing But management dropped the ball man Our chef said "they weren't closing" the day we went cause they had over 1,400 reservations in counting Our reservation was 6:30 We sat at like 8 And the chef came at 8:45 When we asked what the hold up was (besides 1400 reservations which I understand) they said "People aren't getting up from the table when they are done They then proceeded to say they won't ask anyone to get up either Ok on a normal day totally TODAY AINT THAT DAY It's not fair to the workers or guest to continue taking reservations, not closing the restaurant on time for the workers and having people wait for hours on end with no type of answer or result So in summary Chefs- AMAZING Management- Nah do better man. I noticed several restaurants shortened their menu and cut off reservations days in advance because they were too full. This allows the people that did have reservations to have a pleasant experience and seated at a reasonable time Kobe's got greedy and allowing 1400 reservations to continuously come flowing in is so unfair to the chef the staff and the guest I don't even be doing reviews lol but this one needed one

   This is the second time in a year that we had reservations and still had to wait over an hour. I understand that on busy nights you would expect to wait but it’s clear that the restaurant overbooks. Our reservation was at 5:00 and we didn’t get seated until 6:15. The restaurant was so hot and very uncomfortable. It’s a shame because the chefs do such a great job and the food is always good.

   Even though there was a long wait due mainly to it being Mothers Day eve. It was more than worth it. The service was perfect, the food was beyond excellent. We do not get to Brandon often so you are close to Sakura. They are not even close i. Same catagory. Kobe’s is our new favorite Japanese steakhouse

   A 7:30 p.m. reservation turn into a 9:15 p.m. being seated and 9:30 p.m. before our server was able to take drink, appetizers and food orders. We had reservations for 10 with half being children to celebrate their grandmother’s birthday. The children were hungry and sleepy. The service and cook after a two hour wait was good but it was too late for birthday cake.

   Our table was ready more than an hour past our reservation time. The prices are ridiculous for the quality of the food/experience/drinks. The atmosphere was hectic and rowdy. The cocktails were awful. We had been there several times in the past but we will never be back. Ever.

   We really enjoyed our experience tonight. Our chef & host Junior and DJ were wonderful and the food was delicious.

    We had not been here in a while and really enjoyed our visit back. As usual, too much food! But it was great, our server was awesome and the chef was fun and exciting. Thank you Kobe for a great time.
