Attended Thanksgiving dinner. Lots of food and all very good
Average and overpriced
food was absolutely amazing! definitely will be coming back! the whole family loved their food, especially their appetizers and the short rib! so delicious
Overall the dining experience at Ko at Fairmont Kea Lani was good, but not outstanding. Our server Misty was very nice and knew all about the preparations of what we were considering ordering. The food was good, prepared nicely but lacking any real difference of a restaurant that served similar food at half the price. The setting at 8:00pm was lovely and fairly quiet. We shared plates of one "special" of a Maui beef filet and two head-on shrimp (not as moist as I would have liked) and an Amberjack filet seared in a wok - again prepared nicely but lacking in any discernable "local flavor". Our dessert was a coffee flavored cream de brulee - which did have a strong coffee flavor on the sugar crust but the coffee cream was somewhat chunky and not very smooth.
Waiter seemed to have a lot of trouble with our food allergies, he probably went back and forth to the kitchen 3 times and took forever to order. And then we had to send something back once the food finally came because he had made a mistake.
Assuming it was the end of a long shift (we were the last reservation of the evening).
The food itself was good, especially the ahi tuna appetizer. Ambiance felt...like a hotel restaurant, which is what it is.
All in all, if you don’t have food allergies, prob not a bad place to visit.
Appetizers felt overpriced, but entrees seemed fair...
Delightful ambiance as we dined outside on a lovely evening. Service was good, not great but adequate. Food was delicious. Would definitely dine there again.
Our first visit to Ko was 4 years ago the day we were married and everything from the drinks to the pupus to the entree was delicious. The atmosphere and views are always on point. We live on island an usual sit at the bar, but with COVID and having a larger party the table seating was just as nice.
I wanted Josh to have a birthday experience to remember. Ko was seriously over the top in deliciousness, ambiance, courtesy and Aloha!
Fantastic evening. Foods were very good. We ordered the bone in ribeye and the special of the day-Filet mignon and scallops over noodles. The seasoning of both dishes has Asian influence. Fantastic fusion. Kona coffee crème brûlée and key lime pie are just wonderful.
Aloha Jellyfish, I'm so happy to hear you had a fantastic evening with us. It’s truly a pleasure to know that you had an exceptional dining experience at Ko restaurant and that you enjoyed the plantation-era inspired cuisine. Best wishes and hope to see you again soon. We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary
A mention, but no desert or champagne

We were really looking forward to this meal and it was super disappointing. The service was extremely slow, even at 30% capacity, the menu prices are high (not listed online at all) and the food came out cold and bland. We waited for an hour before our food even came out. I ordered the lemongrass mahi mahi and it tasted like watered down coconut milk..no flavor. My friend ordered the catch of the day wok style and the potatoes were cold. It took them another 20 minutes to replace the sides and by that time we were so over it. Sitting there for 2.5 hours total for a super pricey and disappointing meal. You're better off going to the local food trucks for some flavor.
Aloha Alwayshungry123, while we appreciate you dining at Kō restaurant, we sincerely apologize that you were let down. We strive to provide a high level of service and cuisine that best represents our award-winning restaurant. We're truly sorry that we failed with you. Please be assured that your valuable feedback will be shared with the team. We hope that next time you visit, we can provide you with an exceptional dining experience. Mahalo and best wishes. Anniversary dinner and the food was amazing but unfortunately we had a terrible service experience. A manager came and took our drink and food order after 15 minutes of no one coming to our table, then checked in on us later and we still had never even met our server. She did finally come over toward the end of the meal to bring another drink (we had to ask a busboy for this) and to bring our check- but no introduction, acknowledgement of our anniversary, no apology for not waiting on our table. With all of this said it WAS their opening night after COVID so hopefully this improves as some of the kinks get worked out. We would give the restaurant another try in the future because the food truly was incredible, but the service we experienced was nowhere near worth the price.
Aloha Melissa. We are truly sorry that you were underwhelmed by the service while dining at Ko. We love hearing that the food was incredible but sincerely apologize that we fell short on the service. Your comments have been passed on to the Kō Manager for future training and staffing opportunities. We hope you will return and give us another chance to provide the award-wining dining experience we are known for. Best wishes and thank you for your review. Lisa Nordstrom | Senior Venue Manager

Great spot as always ... and opening night was well executed .... other than masks and table spacing you would never know they were closed for month prior !!!

All the items we ate had great flavor. The service was awesome!! We will visit again!
Amazing service from caring professionals. Best of everything!!!
One of the best restaurants on Maui. Never have been disappointed with anything on the menu. Sensational!
Delicious food to meet everyone's tastes, even gluten-free. Staff is very attentive while not being pushy and helpful in describing various offerings.
Great food!!From apps to dessert
Highly recommend it!
Great friendly quick service from Sarah. Food was 4 stars. I had the seafood pancit but I think the quality of the noodles itself could be better. The vegetables and seafood on it was good though. We also had the vegetable tempura. The vegetables were battered perfectly but the sauce/dip was salty and missing something? Overall it was good!
Very good. Will definitely return again
While on vacation at the Fairmont Kea Lani, it is one fine option for exquisite dining!
We took friends to Ko for a birthday dinner. Our server was attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. They brought out a little dessert for our friend, which made her feel very special.
Service at the entire Fairmont is awesome. Highly recommend the ahi on the rock. Veggies were very fresh. Fresh catch preparation was fairly good but dishes were very under seasoned. Wait staff was extremely attentive to my dairy, gluten and soy avoidance and gladly accommodated me.
Excellent. On point start to finish. Our waiter (who is usually a bartender) was fantastic. Super great eve.
Wonderful food, relaxing and elegant atmosphere. The food alone is worth the trip. And the service is excellent.
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in Maui! We loved it! The food was absolutely amazing and the server (Sarah) was AWESOME!! I couldn’t have asked for a better dinner night out with my family!!!
Wasn’t impressed. We went in with high expectations thinking we were going to get great meal, but it was disappointing and incredibly mediocre. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer and it was a bland oily mess. I had the garlic noodles with seafood mix and the taste was underwhelming and it had very little seafood in it. I understand that you have to way overpay for hotel restaurant food, but I also expect to have a semi decent meal. This was just an overpriced night of disappointment.
We had a great time. We ate at the bar and had appetizers and a dinner each. Great happy hour 2 for 1. Bartender was awesome. Highly recommend the shrimp appetizer and the
Grilled scallops and shrimp entree.
Our food was good and same for the service!
We loved Ko. They did a great job of blending the tastes that represents people groups on the island. The server Kris and the hostess Sylvia made our night special. We will definitely be back.
Our waitress was absolutely amazing!!
the food and service were great! We had a wonderful evening celebrating Maui.
Great everything! We always enjoy ourselves when we go there for either lunch or dinner.
Great Kama'aina specials!
Nick our waiter was OUTSTANDING! Celebrated my father & son’s birthday... what a pleasure it was... we will be back.
