    My husband and I both had the lobster tempura and found it extremely greasy and leaving a very unpleasant aftertaste. This is my first and last experience at this restaurant. Very disappointing for the price point.

    Ko’s is always a wonderful experience! There food is delicious and tastes so fresh. I started with the shrimp appetizer which was extra crunchy and had the most divine sauce to dip the shrimps. My friend ordered the Kula salad which was perfectly dressed and so tasty. We both had the mahi-mahi which once again was cooked exquisitely and we loved the sticky rice and tender vegetables. Mmmm good!

    We had the octopus and grilled shrimp entree. They were good but the two appetizers were better - the tataki tuna and pork “Bao” were better. Noise was bar like for a special occasion dinner. Service was good. Open table had entre priced at “$30 and under”. That was not the case. Beautiful hotel - stunning location- particularly at sunset.

    Excellent food and service. Fresh catch preparation was either lemon grass or macadamia nut coated. Opah was flakey and delicious. Appetizers were amazing: cheese shrimp sandwich, pork bao bun, and lime prawns to share. Highly recommend though pricey. Worth it 100%.

    Had dinner with friends we hadn’t seen since pre-COVID. Had a lot of catching up to do and the staff were so patient with us ordering. The food was excellent, service excellent Love this place

    The food took a long time and the restaurant wasn’t that busy. The fish was nit good and had no flavor but the ribs were better. It was just an ok restaurant.

    Nice experience at KO last night. Service was great, zarzuela was awesome (and so filling) and pork was super tender. Salad was fine. And sadly they didn’t have the bread service anymore. Crème Brûlée in the pineapple was delicious.

    We went with our daughter and friends for dinner and everything was top notch. We were greeted very kindly at the hostess station. She was worried the sun would be in our eyes and seated us in a spot that was perfect for our group. Brandyn was our waiter and he was really outstanding. He knew when and how to time our dishes, made good recommendations on food and wine and was pleasant but not overly intrusive. Our food was really amazing. We had 3 starters, the ahi, the lumpia and the pork belly bao buns. Three of us ordered the lobster tempura which is my absolute favorite. It was perfectly cooked, the taste and texture were melt in your mouth with burst of lobster accompanied by 3 sauces. I will definitely go back again and again. Well done Ko!

    We’ve been in Kauai and Maui for a week and did fine dining every night. Our favorite was Ko. Great service, lovely open air setting, but most important GREAT FOOD. The Kobe beef app, the sushi, the bone in rib eye were highlights. Even the cappuccino was wonderful. Loved it.

    It was a beautiful evening at sunset sitting above the pool. The menu is amazing, so much to choose from, all of our meals were fantastic. The service was excellent and the restaurant was full.     The food was outstanding! We had the spicy tuna roll as an appetizer and the the fish of the day with macadamia/kale pesto. Both were superb in freshness, presentation and taste. Serena was our server and just so sweet and kind. It was very relaxing and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. It is a bit loud but they are busy so it’s understandable.

    This was for my partner’s 70th birthday so at the desert portions they put our dessert on one plate and wrote happy 70th birthday across the plate that was wonderful our waitress who is a native of the island was a phenomenon

    The food was incredible. The menu selection was wonderful. I ordered a spicy margarita and it was definitely spicy! My only complaint was the jalapeño flavor was a bit too overwhelming. I love my spice but it was a little too harsh for a beverage. The service was great, but it did take a solid 10 minutes for anyone to come our table. Still well worth the visit. The view is unbeatable. I could come back just for the ambiance.

    When we were seated, we had a table between two tables with small children. It was also in a busy intersection of wait staff walking and people being shown to other seats. In hindsight, I should have asked to be reseated. Waiter was great and so was the table staff. The tempura lobster wasn’t as good as I was hoping, but the special dish in the coconut/lime broth was delish. The desserts were good. The cheesecake was amazing, the brown sugar banana bread was good, but the malasadas missed the mark entirely. There were three (which really needs to be shared as it’s just too much), it had frozen ice cream inside which made them kinda hard to eat and honestly with the melting ice cream it wasn’t as good. I would have made a more traditional malasada and had a dish for the three sauces. The chocolate was delish, but wasn’t a fan of the pineapple or raspberry. And when we left, no one even acknowledged that we were leaving. Weird for a “high-end” restaurant. I’d say if you’re looking for great seafood at the hotel, skip Ko and go to Nick’s. In our opinion it was way better food and service. All in all, the meal was just ok. For the cost and all the hype, it just wasn’t as good as we were hoping.

    Ryan was a wonderful server! Very personable and enthusiastic. The ambiance was perfect for a date night. The food was good, but not exceptional. Through appetizer, entrees, and two desserts, nothing got us to say “Wow!”. Price isn’t usually something we care about if it makes sense for the quality and artistry of the food. This time it just didn’t quite hit the mark we were hoping for. If they have a happy hour, that might be more worth the price. The specialty margarita was great!

    One Fish dish was over cooked and the other one was raw on the inside. Salad for $26 was just some basic lettuce and a couple of tomatoes. Everything was over sweetened including the rice that came with the fish tasted like tapioca dessert as well as over cooked. Curry soup was tastefully seasoned but a bit too Sweet. $18 glass of wine was under poured.

    Celebrated my 3 year olds birthday at the restaurant. Convenient location since we were staying in the Fairmont hotel. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming. Mixed indoor/outdoor venue so it had a relaxed, upscale vibe but it did get slightly cool at night (early January) We ordered a seafood dish similar to a Cioppino and a noodle dish kind of like a chow mein - both were excellent. The chocolate cake we ordered for dessert tasted amazing and included a candle and birthday greeting for my son which was a nice gesture. All in all - great venue, delicious food, and the price is what you would expect at an upscale resort hotel.
