We were treated exceptionally well by the wait staff. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We will return.
The food was fantastic. Unfortunately, the service was poor and the overall value was subpar. I wish I could recommend this restaurant to a business colleague or friend, but I cannot at this time.
Hostess and woman seating us were rude, waitress was good...view is of hotel rooms. Disappointing compared to reviews.
Great place for Valentines Day. Will be coming back.
Not on the water, but very tastefully decorated with many curved booths. Delicious cuisine that is not a repeat of everything you see so often on Maui.
The bread tray did not include the usual ingredients. The fish and steak dishes and the
appetizer salad were very ordinary. Or guest did enjoy the lamb. The desert menu was
plain. Luis, our server, is always tops.
Our food was great and service was too. We were able to sit outside and enjoy our last night in Hawaii.
Arrived with baby at 5:30 and took over 1.5 hours to get dinner. Food seemed to be good but had to eat so quick due to baby having to wait so long.
Hard to comment on anything as now it became fat food at a Very High price
Of course people after us were served very well and before us.
Unfortunately, our 2nd bad experience out of 2 times being there.
nothing on the menu was appealing. too much chicken, no beef except a burger. lots of bready items and fried items. nothing vibrant and healthy... had fish special. it was good, but mac nut encrusted fish, that is an item that is so overdone, its food truck fair nowadays. the lunch menu needs an overhaul that shows someone cares about more than highliting the chef’s grandmother’s old recipes.
We had a party of 9 people for a late reservation. A friend was celebrating a birthday and Ko was his choice. We're very glad he chose Ko for his dinner. All the food that came out was prepared and presented perfectly. I wish I could remember our server's name, she was great. The gentleman that was assisting her, Roland, did a great job of keeping water full, empty plates cleared, and food coming out all together. He was great at getting our pictures for the occasion and had a smile and great attitude the whole time. We will definitely be going back soon! Mahalo!
Among the best in Wailea. Food and service are always top notch.
Everything was great, it’s one of our favourite places to dine out.
The food was great and the service was excellent. Ross our attendant did an outstanding job.
Everything from the hostess who sat us, server, food & drinks was excellent!
Service was good. Bread and miso soup was very good.
Had the vegan curry and vegetable rice. Entrees were very expensive for quality of the flavour and did not live up to expectations.
Outdoor dining, couldn't see the food on our plates at night.
The food was excellent. Mason our server was super helpful. The wine was great. I'm glad I went
Beautiful restaurant and location! The food and service were excellent. Very great place for a romantic date and Asian fusion dishes.
Very, very good food and excellent ambiance.
We had a great night. The staff provided a floral lei for my mom because it was her birthday. Luis the waiter was very friendly and he informed us on the specials and the portions of the appetizers. The wait staff were also attentive and everything was great. I will recommend this place to my family and friends.
Everything went well and everyone was so nice. At the end of dinner, I thought, a birthday cake would be nice. But, overall, everything was amazing. Thank you.
We had a wonderful meal at Ko. Wonderful service and amazing food. They even put an orchid on the ladies in our party's wine glass. Thanks Ko!
Sarah, the Server, was off the charts impressive.
Excellent meal, service and ambience. The local fish in the coconut and lemongrass broth was outstanding.
The staff at Ko is so warm and genuine from the moment you enter. Our servers Leanne and Roland were beyond wonderful. Everything was delicious; macadamia lavender shrimp, chicken lumpia spring rolls, mauka salad, lobster tempura, and the lobster and snapper chef’s special.
The food just didn’t taste very good
We eat here every time we visit Maui - always excellent and love having Luis as our server. There were 5 of us, everyone ordered a different entree and raived about it....meat and fish alike. It's a must !
Dinner was delicious as was our bottle of sauv blanc recommended by our server, Lyanne.
Good service, lovely setting.
We had our best meal in Wailea at Ko in all respects: food, ambience, and service. Prices are the same everywhere in the area but quality varies greatly.
Great food and service!
Excellent meal under the stars. The ahi rock appetizer was great. The main courses all excellent especially the fish and seafood wrapped in the leaf. Desserts were solid.
Mixed feelings on the dishes. The chicken curry and lobster tempura was good. The fish in lemongrass broth was a bit bland and sour. Food needs to be more approachable, it’s very fancy and we found it challenging to find food that both met our various food allergy needs AND seemed like something we were interested in eating. I’d recommend the chefs add a few more “simple” entrees to the menu.
The server we had was absolutely amazing, woman from Ohio and i wish I remembered her name because she was probably the best server we’ve had on the island, she gave us a little note of a bunch of amazing places around the island and made the trip so much more memorable. If anyone has the chance to go here, do it! You won’t regret it i can promise that!
Perfectly prepared contemporary Hawaiian food! Excellent service!
As all hotel restaurants are in Hawaii, Ko is an expensive dining choice. However, unlike most hotel restaurants, the food, service and overall experience was truly memorable. On our last vacation, we indulged in all the fancy restaurants in Wailea, and Ko was far and away the best meal. Ultra fresh and inspiring choices, interesting presentations, great cocktails, and attentive and warm service. Cover the prices of everything and go with it—it’s Ko and you’re in Hawaii!
Amazing experience and great food
There were four foot-long tears in the banquet back cushion. See pic of two of the tears. Staff apologized and said the restaurant is going to be renovated next year. Cold mashed potatoes and broccoli with my $55 lamb chop entree. Very loud bar area with huge television visible from most seats. Bare marble top tables. Felt as if I was eating in a sports bar. Wish I took more pics to warn future diners but I just wanted to leave. Very disappointing.
