What a great experience! The tasting dinners are always my favorite, anytime and anywhere. This dinner was no exception. The wine pairings were spot on; the portions were perfect, and the seating arrangements were well done. The progression of the tasting menu, built around a theme and delivered a solid performance.

BEST MEAL EVER. Every time. From the moment you approach the restaurant until after you've paid your bill you are treated like a special guest at someone's home. There is such creativity expertly applied to every dish. The attention to detail and use of local, seasonal ingredients is unparalleled. As an example, we recently enjoyed trout cooked sous vide style in bees wax. It was the creamiest, silkiest and most delicious trout ever. Another example was the honey cake with black locust icing and dark mead caramel sauce made with local products from the hive. Incredible! We've dined with people who, like us, have traveled the world and 4/5 of them have said "That is the best meal I've ever had". Nuff said. If you've not yet been to KIN, book a dinner today. Also, checkout their walk-in bar Art Haus for the same great experience with more casual fare.

We went for the late seating (Supper Club) and this was our first visit to KIN. It was a very new experience for me, as I am an uncultured lout. What I loved about it is that the whole experience wasn't pretentious. The focus was on the food and the story of the featured artist, which was really wonderful. I got to learn using all of my senses and it was a challenging and wonderful educational meal. The wine pairings were great, the courses were amazing, and the service was impeccable. KIN isn't a place where you go to just get a belly filled up, it's a place for your soul. I left that dinner grateful that I had taken time (and wallet space) for myself. It was a time to rethink my relationship with my fellow diners, my plate, and my environment. I don't mean to sound too profound, it was a meal, but to me it was a really special experience where I could replenish myself beyond the calories. I left feeling like it was special, extravagant, and that I deserve those things from time to time. It was a gift I gave myself and my guests. I will just note that Idaho needs these types of experiences. Thanks to the dedicated team at KIN for delivering us a 1 of 1. I loved the rotating presenters of the courses who made the meal approachable and enhanced my taste with story.

The KIN Crew has done it again! Menu 57 was our favorite one so far. Amazing and delicious from first to last bite, washed down with tasty pairings, and enjoyed with great company. Thanks for being our extra fancy date night go-to place!
