Staff is always very accommodating. Great place to meet up with friends.
Keys has maintained a quality restaurant for the past several years and our dinner date was very nice. We like the rustic ambience and my wife always wants to sit by the fireplace. My special lamb shank was perfectly done and garnished.
The walleye was excellent and the way they prepared it. Wish there could be lake fish on the menu more often. Food was great and so was the service as usual.
As always, our experience at Keys was wonderful. We were seated next to the fireplace, which was perfect for the chilly evening. Our waitress was prompt and friendly. We were celebrating my husband's birthday and the waitress treated us to a slice of delicious chocolate cake. We are looking forward to bringing our out-of-state guests when they are here at Christmastime.
we love to dine at Keys. The food is always wonderful as is the service, but the setting is what makes it stand out even more. No competition in Evergreen!
The quality of the food was only exceeded by the excellent customer service.
Great outdoor seating
Had a wonderful time here celebrating my mother’s 90th Birthday. Our waitress, Gabrielle, was very attentive and friendly; the food, excellent; and the ambience, very cozy and inviting - not to mention that we made new friends, too! Will definitely come back often. Worth the beautiful drive from Denver!
Great experience! I’d highly recommend this restaurant.
Busy night. Service slower than usual, food took longer to prepare. Even with reservations, we were seated next to the front door (4 of us) and it was quite noisy. Not our usual experience but the food was excellent.
Family visiting from out of state.
We had a party of 10 (8 adults and 2 children). All the food came out hot and very good. The restaurant and staff was very accomodating to a party that had 2 very rambunctious children ages 2 and 3.
Keys on the Green is unusual because it is a very good restaurant on a golf course. The food is traditional with a variety of appetizers and entrees. You can select beef or seafood items or a couple of items in between. The crab cakes are very good. The mussels are excellent. I love the strawberry and spinach salad. The prime rib (Friday and Saturday only) and lobster ravioli are excellent, also. For a short wine list the variety is good and the prices extremely reasonable. The service is attentive. In good weather the new patio dining area is very nice.
While you wouldn't expect much from a restaurant at a golf course, the food is excellent, the service is very good and I have never had a dining experience there that I don't count as first rate. Sometimes you find the nicest things in the most unexpected places.
Plus, it doesn't hurt that we were entertained by a dozen elk right outside of the window.
We enjoyed a pleasant evening, sitting outside on the patio, watching the elk. Our meal was delicious as usual. The service was excellent.
It was a beautiful day to sit on the patio watching the golfers. So nice to have the creek nearby too!
Really enjoyed brunch on the patio food was delicious
Great place for Sunday brunch and get together with a few couples. Sat out on the deck with a wonderful view of the golf course. The menu was great, good selections. The food was better than good but not great.
Food was great! Atmosphere on the patio would have been great as well but there was a golf tournament and several drunk patrons that were extremely load and obnoxious.
We went for a family birthday celebration on a Saturday afternoon. Even with a golf tournament winding down, we were thoughtfully seated in a quiet nook away from the madding crowd and enjoyed our solitude.
Great atmosphere and food
Keys on the Green is in a lovely location, and stunning, historical atmosphere, like a beautifully set Hobbit's Lair. Great wine selection.
The food used to be better. Sometime in the last year the Fish and Chips went from 3 pieces of cod down to 2, the price did not go down. We mostly go for the patio now. The setting is very nice.
Sat on patio and perfect day with my mom
My sister and I went to Keys to celebrate her birthday. We sat on the patio and it is beautiful there. We both ordered the trout with the risotto and both were very good. Since it was my sister's birthday, our wonderful waitress offered us the choice of one dessert. We chose the lemon cake with whip cream and it was delicious.
I loved the quite peaceful atmosphere, the food is always just so perfect, and the waiter was so kind to intuitively bring us a piece of cake for our anniversary (he just saw it from our exchange of cards)!! So thoughtful.
Delightful patio overlooking the golf course, and the weather was beautiful that day. The food was quite good. Service was polite and willing, but rather slow; probably a problem in the kitchen. The waitstaff was great. Very relaxing environment. Note: I highly recommend patio dining. The inside restaurant looked very dark and gloomy.
We totally enjoyed our meal tonight! Probably the best filets ever. Gabriella is such a delight to have as a server! Jim and Craig are so nice and always remember us. It's so nice to have such a quality restaurant in Evergreen.
We sat out on the patio in the late afternoon. We ate the crab cakes and then the lobster ravioli. The food was excellent. The service was very good. I would recommend dining there anytime.
we've typically had great experiences at Keys on the Green but our visit on Sunday was quite the opposite. We waited over an hour and a half for our food and we're given updates or reason for the delay, then had to return a dish because it was cold. We were comped a round of wine (2 glasses) but never a visit from the manager. The setting is exceptional so we hope this was just an off night.
First time. Love the location at the Evergreen Golf Course. The food was really good. I had the frenched rosemary chicken and my wife had the eggplant Parmesan. For an appetizer we shared a beet salad. The meal was very very good however the service was a D+. The host seemed a bit harried. The waitress then came by for our drinks. I ordered a galas of wine. When she returned with the glass she asked if we had decided. So we ordered. All fairly quick but again she also seemed in a rush. She then waited on a table next to ours and promptly told them about the specials. They seemed like something we we would have ordered- if we had known about them. Oh well. Again throughout our service she seemed rushed. Too little help? We will go back and hope for a less harried staff next time.
The median-rare prime rib was closer to medium - hardly any pink. The elk was delish as well as the lamb chops. Craig, the owner, was delightful we had a lot of good laughs. Great outdoor setting!
We really enjoyed this restaurant. Our server Gabriella made our whole dining experience amazing. She went above and beyond to accommodate our table. Thanks for 2 great dinners!!!
The servers were great, and the food was ultimately outstanding .. but we waited more than an hour to receive our meal. The servers explained they 'got behind in the kitchen', and also said it happens a lot. So of course would recommend the Keys do something about this
Went with freinds for dinner. We had reservations and were seated right away. The ambience was a litle louder than usual for our meal. The waiter was freindly and knew the bar service well but was lacking on his knowledge of the weekly specials. The kitchen was quick and all 4 dishes were served at the same time and all were excellent. All in all, a very nice dinner!
Food was good, service was great, ambiance on deck is mountain golf course. None the less, it seemed a bit expensive for a meal that included water in a plastic coke glass. $27 for shrimp scampi and chicken marsala, $9 was cheapest wine.
Great food and service after a beautiful morning on the golf course. Extremely accommodating outside on the patio—let us come inside during a downpour and choose any open table!
Great with very good meals and ambience.
Keys is a great place where the ambiance is wonderfully Evergreen, the food is great, the people are friendly and accommodating. It is consistently good!
The food was outstanding. The service was not. Although we ordered as soon as a waiter appeared, it was more than a hour after we entered the restaurant with a reservation before we were served our dinner.
