This restaurant is now at the top of our Austin favorites list. We spent much of the meal deciding who we would bring with us on our next visit.

Yummy food; Edamame, Kara-age Chicken, Hot Pocketz, Brisket, Ton Maki Skewers, and Banana Pudding Matcha Whip, fun atmosphere and excellent service. I love how they greeted us when we walked into the dining room. Our friends from Fisher, Texas came to Austin for the experience and were not disappointed. However, the cocktails (Perfect High Ball and the High Ball version of Mizu Green Tea - Rice/Barley) were tough to swallow. Our 5:30 reservations were early enough to get an on-sight parking spot and immediate seating.

we went for our anniversary and it was absolutely amazing! anthony was our server and he was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and gave us tons of recommendations. the tuna carpaccio was to die for, we ordered it again right after we finished the first plate! we ordered the sashimi trio and the bbq boat bento style for our main and it was the perfect amount of food. we got a complimentary banana pudding (very happy about that, i love banana pudding) for our celebration. we're dallas natives but we WILL be coming back the next time we're in austin!

We liked our server and the bartender. Put on Ramen brisket and consummate dip was delicious. It would’ve been nice to have two pieces of brisket instead of one. Was good but a little today in my opinion I would’ve prefer regular Ramen noodles, but I’m sure they were trying to give the Deb a chance to absorb more. The Wagyu skewers were good. Scallop cure as an appetizer was super fishy and you had to eat it with the sweet corn to overcome. The wings were OK. The dry robe was solid, but the sauce was super vinegar green and didn’t really add a lot of value. Yummy drinks, but we wouldn’t come back Next time we visit Austin. So ironic because we had the best experience at Uchi Austin and everything was delicious and we love barbecue. PS shout out to the brisket and the Ramen as the one small piece that was included was phenomenal. Thank you, Franklin’s

We celebrated our son's 21st birthday at Kemuri Tatsu-ya, and it was wonderful! We hadn't been in a while, so it was fun to rediscover the menu. We worked our way slowly through each section, selecting items to share. The service was great. We never felt rushed, and she made excellent suggestions. We loved the Wagyu skewers and the scallop skewers (the corn puree was amazing and perfectly paired). The rayfin was really interesting, and the turnips were a delightful surprise. The smoked wings and hot pockets are pure comfort! There is just so much on their menu that is flavorful and surprising. We also love the laid-back atmosphere and cool playlist. Just a great place to explore amazing food and hang out. Can't wait to come back!

We had a reservation for two and on a busy last Friday night. Our service was excellent by Logan. He made perfect recommendations and the food was out of this world ! Great food and experience and would recommend to anyone visiting or living in Austin !

We dined as a family and had a wonderful experience. We ordered the barbeque platter and the bento box which was a great combination. The barbeque was incredible with a perfect char on the outside and melt in your mouth tender meat. It was fun making little seaweed tacos and blending the all the incredible flavors. I enjoyed a their version of a margarita that was light and dangerously refreshing. We finished the meal with the red snapper carpaccio and 2 types of sashimi - they were all elevated and excellent. Our server was a delight and the food arrived at a great pace. This restaurant was an amazing surprise and I'd love to return someday soon. However if your appetite is bigger than your budget this place is not a great fit since it is a small bites restaurant with bigger bite prices.

We got baited into thinking we had a table inside for our reservation, and when we arrived, we were seated outside and told there were no tables inside available. 5-6 different people left in the time we were there. It’s a pretty dishonest way to operate a business. Most of the food we got was lukewarm, even the BBQ. Find a different place to dine in my opinion.
