   Aloha, I love wine dinners with Sky Cameron of Chambers and Chambers. Been following Sky from Stage, Chef Chais to 53 by the Sea. Had to give Kapa Hale a try with Skys endorsement. Wow so happy we did. Best dish of the night was the lamb! Yes, disguised as a Vindaloo, but hey it really was so rich in flavors from Vindaloo to everything"local" omg I'll be back for this dish alone. Seriously amazingly tender and delicious. Give this local gem a try, you'll be happy you did. A hui hou!

   Chef Keaka Lee always delivers an outstanding meal. His Mother's Day menu did not disappoint. We had to pace ourselves from getting full on that family style starters and were overwhelmed by all the desserts at the end. However, my favorites for the evening that I recommend to everyone was the mushroom & cauliflower bolognese over pasta and the Lechon with its perfectly crispy skin topped with tomato and onions. I'm looking forward to my next meal there.

   Overpriced brunch for what we were offered. $85 with no seafood. Sadly disappointed.

   Aloha Stacy, Thank you for the feedback. We posted the menu and what would be available that day. We would have been happy to answer any questions about the availability of seafood -- but we didn't promote a seafood menu. We apologize for the eggs and should have offered to redo the dish for the table. We will share the feedback with the staff. Mahalo.

   We had reservations, and a table was specifically reserved for us. Our waiter was professional and friendly. After the menus and water were served, we were asked if we wanted any other beverages. Since beer was mentioned, he went over the beers available that evening. The NYC fashion was good. If you order the mango margarita, be prepared for a little mazcal taste. My son and I liked it, but my wife prefers tequila. The variety of food was excellent. Besides the regular menu, they have a set special tasting menu that comes with a starter, a choice of entrée, and a choice of dessert. Although they have a happy hour, it is not available on Saturdays.

   My first experience at your restaurant was GREAT! Service was good and restaurant was clean and inviting. I enjoyed the fried chicken. I will definitely be back!!

   Food and service was amazing! They really put a personal touch on the meal. The chef actually comes to the table to talk story. What a great experience.

   The food and cocktails were great. Loved the happy hour menu! Very nice server, just very busy…which is good. Fun ambience but a little loud for conversations.

    Awesome Happy Hour this evening! We took our neighbors to the restaurant for their first visit. Their comment was that everything we ate (and we tried EVERYTHING on the Happy Hour menu except the Poke!) was full of great flavors. And that's what was so impressive. Each plate was delicious. Service was excellent and the ambiance is comfortable and welcoming.
