Great food and drinks! Service was a big slow, but it was Easter and they had a good crowd. Always worth a return visit!
Parking muddy and lots of deep potholes. Wish they would pave the lot.
Hi Joen! We’re sorry the parking lot was muddy during your visit. We wish we could fix the issue, unfortunately the lot is owned by the City of Baton Rouge. We hope you did enjoy our food and service while you were here and hope to see you again soon!
The appetizers, flat bread and sausage rolls, were really delicious. The special for the night was a whole stuffed redfish, and I have to say it was fantastic. Prices were moderate, and we sat outside on porch. Only negative is the noise level due to the overpass. I guess if one chooses to eat outside at a restaurant under an overpass then one should certainly expect it to be loud.
Kalurah Street Grill was accommodating for my larger group needing to sit outdoors. Our reservation was fulfilled to our expectations with excellent service from our server as well as bartender. The manager even swung by our table to ensure we were happy with our dining experience.
Great food as always
Had the Amberjack and Brussels sprouts and both were delicious!
Adam was a great server. I highly recommend the Rabbit Confit flatbread.
Great menu. Options for everyday as well as special occasions.
Wonderful food, wine and service
3 people dining, all ordered different dishes from different sections of the menu, and everything was delicious! Friendly service, pretty interiors, pleasant atmosphere.
Kakurah Street Grill is doing it right! Great food and great service. Safe place. Well done!
Food was fantastic, wine was perfect
Very nice neighborhood gem. Eclectic menu urges you to leave your comfort zone. Highly recommended
Food excellent as always!
The Oyster app and the Scallop entree were great!
Wonderful Sunday brunch. Great menu.
The wine list was extraordinary, with a great selection of affordable wines. We drank a couple of bottles of Turley juvenile, which were an extraordinary value. My wife enjoyed the swordfish and I loved the duck. Everyone else enjoyed their meal as well. One dish is a must have and that is the Brussel sprout side! The lamb lollipops for appetizer and fried oysters were also amazing! My daughter had the specialized gumbo, which we all agreed should probably not have the name gumbo in it. It would not fall under a good southern gumbo, but rather a good Asian soup. It was still good. We had a family outing with six of us and everyone was completely pleased. My wife and I want to go back with just the two of us because the ambience is also wonderful.
Great service, hands on owner/manager, creative and delicious dishes
Support your local business---they need our support!
Just ok. Lot's of good restaurants in BR. Food just ok. Restaurant was very nice inside.
Emily was great! Food was good.
Food was excellent, as always and can dine outside during COVID-19.
Nice atmosphere. Great service. Shishito pepper app was outstanding. Burger was very very good. Spicy chicken was unique. Steak was good
Definitely a great dining choice
Great! We enjoyed our meal.
Fantastic food and a cool atmosphere in a safe environment. I’d highly recommend.
The braised short ribs were excellent as well as the rabbit boudin empanadas
My wife and I had brunch with our friends, and the meals on the patio were excellent! The bottomless bloody Mary’s and mimosas were a worthwhile deal, and my achiote chicken omelet was quite savory paired with the brussel sprouts and the special appetizer that day. Definitely looking forward to another meal there!
Always great food and service! The special recommended was outstanding!
We had brunch for the first time since reopening after COVID. Great COVID protections, good service and lovely meal. The rabbit confit flatbread was divine. Next time it will likely be my entire meal rather than a share plate. We enjoyed the brunch options, but they were not our favorite.
Wife and I took our three teenage boys. Fantastic lunch after mass on Sunday! Food was excellent, service was superb!!!
Amazing. Wine and food was great as always.
Super specials Great drinks Super service
The food would have been really good if it wasn't so salty!
We made a reservation for my husband’s birthday dinner. I added this detail to my reservation and also told the waiter. After finishing our meal we asked what desserts they had and he told us that the kitchen was closed. Normally a server would let you know that the kitchen was closing and ask if you would like to put an order in for dessert before, but this did not happen. Had this been our first visit to the restaurant we would probably not return.
The restaurant was empty, but for some reason they seated us directly across from the kitchen; which is a terrible view. The bright kitchen lights shine in your face during the entire meal.
We did go during the football game, so it was quieter than normal, which is what we wanted. Service and food were great. Our main dishes were the perfect combination of flavors drawing on different influences across the world.
I think it would be good if they had a candle or some sort of lighting on the tables, just to add to the ambience. It was a bit a dark where we seated. All we needed is a tea light of sorts.
It's good to have K Street back. They have come back with a nice Big Bang!
Chose this restaurant from online recommendations flavors were interesting & on point. The smoked tomato soup was amazing! We filled up on starters this time, but we’ll definitely be back to try a few of the entrées that peaked our interest.
Favorite place and the food is always good!!
This was an excellent restaurant--we loved our waiter, the wine and our delicious meal. My husband and I shared a salmon tartare starter that was out-of-this-world (I could have eaten several for my dinner and been perfectly happy) and we devoured the glazed Brussel Sprouts. Our waiter, Cole, did an amazing job and was attentive and friendly. Lastly, this is small, but I wish there had been candles on the tables which would have made the atmosphere a near perfect 10, but I'll hope that comes later! Thanks for a great night!
Everything was perfect. The meal was something I'd expect to get in New York or Chicago. We are so lucky to have a restaurant of this caliber in Baton Rouge!
Kalurah Street Grill is certainly a lot different from the old Chelsea"s. It's much more upscale, and the food and ambiance is excellent. The only downside is the parking.
