    It was lovely. I had always wanted to do a fine dining tasting. I do feel that the flavors were just a tad off on a couple of the plates. If you are going to do the small tasting- make sure every piece is not only visual but also has a spark of taste too. The beet dish was bland. The honey desert was amazing. And the frothy mushroom ravioli was top notch.

    The restaurant ambience was wonderful, food really good. The wagu strip was a little tough but still tasted good, service was as expected for a premium restaurant. We got the tasting menu for $110 pp and I highly recommend that. Adding a $15 uplift for steak vs pork on a fixed menu was also kind of silly. Especially since it was chewy. Parking was challenging so I used valet, which was $12 cash when you leave. I’m not opposed to tipping valet but when paying $150-200pp for a meal why do I have to pay valet? All they do is park it in a public pay lot, nothing special. Again, I’ll tip these guys all day long but to pay valet that was dedicated to the restaurant leaves a bad taste in my mouth.. pun intended. Overall very nice but they need to rethink a few things to get me to return or recommend friends. Stop nickel and diming your customers and charge whatever is needed for the meals to cover your cost.. I’d have paid whatever the ask was anyways since I expected $200 pp walking in.

    Juniper never disappoints. Great service, staff who have been there for years is a great sign of a well run establishment. Food, drinks always top shelf. Yet the vibe is chill and pure Austin laid back.

    This is an amazing spot! Great everything. I’d write a longer one but I’m getting dragged around a target currently.. go try yourself! You won’t regret, especially on a date/special occasion with the misses.
