Relaxing and lovely lunch! Food is always fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The service is great. June Hill's Table is definitely a desert gem!
We have eaten at June Hills Table several times and keep coming back. The the food and service are great and the prices are very reasonable. On our last visit, our server Jonathan was outstanding. We were there for Mother's Day Brunch.
Everything in the brunch was great except for the desserts. The creme brûlée did not taste or mouth feel like traditional creme brûlée. Blackened salmon was excellent! And so were the starters. I think the food is improving as well as the service.
Outstanding Mothers Day experience. Menu, quality of food and service all ecceptional
My wife & I enjoyed June Hill's Table for Mother's Day. June Hill's Table is relatively new to our area and in an out of the way location, so we were anxious to see for ourselves. We particularly enjoyed the dining room with the walls that opened up to the patio. We felt like we were seated outside and yet we weren't. The wait staff is amongst the best we've ever experienced. Very attentive, but they didn't interrupt us. While the menu for Mother's Day Brunch was limited the food was excellent. Bottom line is we're looking forward to our next visit.
The Mother's Day brunch menu was too heavy on carbs, I did not like the choices for a brunch. Salad, eggs and dessert just didn't go together and way too much bacon. I had brochette, French Toast and cobbler. So much bread. The apple cobbler was okay but the other choice had to be sent back being full of salt. A huge error in cooking. I left there feeling very uncomfortable and full. I would have preferred a nice fruit cup, quiche and a muffin. The biscuits served were very heavy to begin the meal and just drizzled with molasses were awful.
We waited over an hour and a half they forgot to put our order in. When appetizer came Brussels sprouts were crisp but hard as if not cook all the way. When food did arrive. My husband med -rare filet was so over cooked he returned it and said forget it. My roasted herb chicken was a flat piece of frozen chicken breast that was grilled and was like hard rubber. We were very disappointed. We left and went to a movie! Luckily they did not charge us for this meal.
Decided to try a new place for Mother's Day. We got a private room with the sunset view of the mountains. All the guests were impressed with the intimate gated location. Ambiance is great, beautiful and new building, stellar service however it took an hour to get our appetizers and food. They also made a dish with cheese when we asked for without. They forgot my drink for about 30 mins and still took a while after I reminded them. The food was good though, we enjoyed our Nectarine/Goat cheese bruschetta and Brussel sprout appetizers.
They got my husband's order wrong, so he had to wait even longer. They did apologize profusely and offer us discounts, but it really felt like they kitchen didn't had difficulty making the dishes. I could see the frustration on the manager and our wait staff's faces but everyone was very professional which saved the meal. I might give them another try in a year. Perhaps their brunch buffet might be better since they'll have everything pre-made.
Very good. Waiter was a bit distracted.
Excellent steaks and great servers
These guys really do their best to provide great food and service. Lunch is really good as well
Disappointed that my Opeen Table did not earn dining points
Eight residents of the Trilogy Polo Club wanted to extend the weekly Thirsty Thursday social
"happy hours" into dinner sitting down at 5:30pm. We wanted to be outside, but there was no
sun shade control for the first hour so half the table baked in direct sun. Shaded tables were reserved for another group who did not arrive until we were leaving at 7:30pm.
We wanted to split a salad as we have in the past. However, the communication between the waiter and kitchen broke down so the salad arrived on one plate and when we explained we ordered it split, they did not offer to correct the error. We split it ourselves at the table...but the dressing and toppings were not easily divided. The wait between ordering our meals and delivery of food was at least 45 minutes, with too long a gap between receiving salads/appetizers and the main course. We know this restaurant is very slow so we only dine here if we have nothing else planned after dinner. The menu is the same for lunch and dinner and is not very appealing. We split a salad and the million dollar burger which includes
fries since it is hard to mess up. Other items ordered in the past are unpredictable relative to quality, freshness and cooking methods. We want this restaurant to be successful, but so far pleas for a better menu, better tasting food and timely delivery of ordered food have not been acted upon.
Attending dinner and a show on the patio. Great time was had by all.
The service was outstanding at June Hill’s, and the ambience was stunning. We were there for brunch celebrating a bachelorette outside on the patio - I would definitely go back!!
The food was awful. The ahi tuna appy has no flavor. The ceased salad wasn’t even made with ceased dressing. The lettuce wedge didn’t even taste like blue cheese dressing. The chicken entree was so over cooked we’ve never tasted anything so dry before and also had no flavor.
Had a lovely lunch out on the patio here. I live in Palm Desert and thought this was too far to go for lunch, but I was wrong. Easy drive and worth it. The food was delicious, extremely reasonable , and the service was outstanding.
This is the third time I have tried to communicate my unhappiness with your restaurant. I was there with 2 others for Easter Brunch on 4/1/18. We had a 1:30 reservation. I had suggested we go to June Hill's Table because I had had lunch there a few days before. On Easter Sunday, however, it was not good. Half of the advertised foods were missing. No roast turkey, no oysters, no veggies, very little salad, very few desserts. The rest of the food was obviously not refreshed or replenished from the early seatings. The hot food was cold and the cold food was room temperature. The breakfast items were a big mess. The servers were unorganized and it took a long time to get a drink or have a plate removed. I actually think I deserve to get my money back. Please direct this to someone in charge. Thank you. Mary Adesso - 347-843-2929,
The service was very slow this time but as soon as they were made aware of the problem they credited our glass of wine and were very attentive thereafter. We will still go back because the food is delicious and we always give the wait staff a second chance.
This was our first visit. Four of us went in the afternoon for Happy Hour and ended up staying well into the evening. It turned out to be a rare find. The menu was innovative and the food was outstanding. The atmosphere and decor were both relaxing but perfect for a special lunch or evening. The staff were attentive and knew the menu and wine list well. We loved everything from the small plates to the desserts. If you're looking for a wonderful experience that won't break the bank give June Hill's a try. We all agreed we'll be back.
We waited forever for a waiter and had to ask the bartender to open our wine. Once we had our waiter we had to call him
Back over to order. Two other times we were there the food was delicious but Saturday night our food was fair. The pasta dish was luke warm and the salmon was over cooked. It was very disappointing...clearly the kitchen was overwhelmed and they were short staffed. I won’t be running back any time soon. Too bad as it could be a great casual place.
I was disappointed that even though we had reservations we had to wait 20 minutes. Also when seated we were given a table where the view was obstructed by a pole and there were 2 tables empty that had a great unobstructed view.
When visiting Indio, we were looking for outdoor dining with a mountain view. We found June Hill's Table exceeded our expectations. It had it all--great food, great service and a great view. We believe it was a terrific find and look forward to visiting again.
Beautiful evening with friends in a lovely restaurant. We were quite happy with the our experience. We, and
our guests, were quite taken with the ambiance of June Hill’s Table. The food and service was handled in a
timely manner by our servers. We will definitely be returning!!
We have been there a few times and each time it was the same thing. Food is good but steaks aren't cooked to order. Service is bad and slow. We keep going back for the ambience hoping it was a one time bad experience but each time it was the same.
Another great meal. I don't know why June Hill's is not rated 5 stars by everyone. It should be!!
Our first dining experience there was most enjoyable. Food was delicious, weather perfect, service excellent and overall, very enjoyable experience...We will be returning.
We enjoyed a wonderful brunch with friends. Our server was very friendly and efficient. We’d eat there again.
Wonderful atmosphere, service & food.
Would recommend and will return for sure
Consistenly great, original food
Good service and wonderful ambiance. We go regularily.
Beautiful design to the building but that is the only highlight. Service was very slow (had to wait 20min once seated before waiter came to our table). Food was not served as ordered. Steak was requested as medium but came as well done. Lots of staff on hand but it seem very unorganized. Had high hopes from friends recommendations but would not recommend and will not return.
Nice find in the desert. We're there for the horse show circuit in Thermal and were so happy to discover June Hill's Table. It's in a bit of an unusual location in a gated country club, but once you arrive it feels welcoming to the general public. The space is new and comfortable, with good acoustics that allowed us all to enjoy conversation. The menu is creative and healthy. Loved the peach detox salad which I added a simple piece of grilled salmon. The kids loved the brussels sprouts and had 3 orders. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her homemade tortellini. We'll be back there again this week!
We requested patio, and was seated promptly as we arrived. All staff are super nice. They kept an watchful eye and only came to the table as needed. Not bothersome. Food was also very good. I have no hesitation to recommend and we will return to enjoy another dinner night.
Great service and wonderful salad, beautiful sunset
sadly our experience on Saturday evening was very disappointing. we were anxious to try this restaurant. we had our out of town friends with us. we arrived for our reservation at 6.30. our waiter took our order shortly after that, 1 hamburger, 1 order of shrimp tacos, 1 fish and chips and 1 chicken and rice soup. by 7.45 our food had not come and we hadn’t seen our waiter. finally got someones attention and waiter came over and appologized and said the food would be out right away. nothing came. then the manager came out and told us that that because they had a wedding going on upstairs at their event venue the kitchen was very busy. he appologized as well and said the food would be out right away. about 5 minutes later the hamburger and the tacos came out. neither was hot but the gentlemen were so hungry by that time that they didn’t really care. about 5 minutes after that the soup and fish and chips came out. both were cold. we sent ours back and about 5 minutes later they came back. soup was inedible, greasy and horrible. didn’t eat it. fish and chips were disappointing as well. hardly got eaten. only good thing i can say is that they compted our meal, but that was a non issue as we all left hungry.
This is the second time in a year I have been at this restaurant and both times the service has been horrendous. I'm not sure why each time I went there was such a delay in between being seated and ordering drinks... thirty minutes... our food took another 40 minutes on top. It's a shame because the food is good. Definitely will not be going back.
Theres a beautiful view of the mountains out on the patio while the sun sets the food is delicious the pizzas are big enough to share and have one or two slices left after.
Everything was amazing especially desert me and my wife will go back again just for the hot chocolate and donuts.
Best staff and food in the desert. Took some friends from out of town here everything was great from the drinks from the bar to the orange creme brûlée best resturant in the desert.
Good parking, very friendly welcome, good food, excellent service
Very beituful spot great for a date night and just casual dinners too. Had Joe as a server he was very helpful. Me and my wife had the lobster grilled cheese it was outstanding. We're sure to come back to try everything else.
