Everyone enjoyed their dinner very much. We will go again just for those biscuits.

My quiche was cold and had asked for warm - sent back. Friend’s order was too salty but liked the cornbread. Biscuits were the best part but think it is wrong to charge for the honey and apple compote. Not as good as the first time I experienced. Do like Natalie the bar tender and Matt Served us well. Very noisy environment even with few patrons. I will return another day.

We arrived to see an incredible display of bourbon at the bar and excitedly awaited our experience. The bloody Mary’s, while small and served in a low ball, were good with fresh dill flavor. My friend and I asked to share the cornbread Benedict. It unfortunately came out not split with the poached eggs significantly undercooked, which when we tried to split the dish ourselves turned into a mushy, sloppy mess. We had ordered a biscuit because had read about their accolades and given their small size asked for another order. We should have tasted them first because there was nothing special about these biscuits. I should also note that we had to ask for the accompanying honey and preserves (which I don’t really consider accompanying when you have to pay extra for them) and were met with an eye roll from the server. My friend’s husband had the “bottomless” coffee that he had to ask for a refill on as the first cup was only half full. By this point we were over our experience and he only had 2 half cups. Overall, a disappointing brunch.

We were underwhelmed with the food. The best thing that we had was the Chef Snack. The pimento cheese beignet was extremely, the chicken was dry and overly charred, and everything else was just "okay". We had high hopes from the other reviews, but for us it was just standard / fair southern food. Nothing special or overly exciting. Our service was also in need of much improvement - we were presented with a desert menu before our entrees event arrived.

Second trip to Julep... the interior is nice and homey. The service was poor of fair. After being seated the server for our section visited the table adjacent three times before acknowledging we had been seated; in fact, we had to ask who our server was... the restaurant was not that busy even though 8pm on a Friday. Drink service was slow in delivery The saving grace was the food. It was delicious! Sadly I would not recommend going to Julep

I hoped you would have appropriate music for southern food. Rock and Roll ain't it. Food is fab. Ambiance is sterile and unimaginable. Love the small outdoor patio.

Cool space. Food very uneven. Biscuits were delicious. Shrimp and grits too were good. Salad not able to eat due to poor quality of ingredients. Wilted lettuce and full of stems. Kitchen chatty and unkept- never a good sign.

Solid food. The service was seriously lacking, with staff being largely absent and inattentive: app forgotten, had to wait a long time to order drinks, no silverware when dishes arrived, nobody checked with us after the entrees arrived (or even when they were being picked up), waited for a long time to pay the bill and the server wouldn’t have picked up the check if I hadn’t stopped her before she walked away. I’m a big believer in respectfully providing feedback to restaurants, both positive and negative, and really would rather give that feedback in person instead of online. Restaurant folks work their tails off, and I truly appreciate what they do. I think it’s incumbent on diners to let restaurant managers know when things haven’t been great, so they can get better and stay in business in a brutally competitive industry. Unfortunately, I didn’t get that opportunity here. No one was around or paying attention at the end of our meal. We slowly walked to the front and even hung out at the host stand for a few minutes. No staff acknowledged our departure, so we left without giving feedback. To be fair, the manager didn’t charge us for the app, and folks were certainly friendly. We weren’t mistreated, just not paid attention to. It was a really frustrating experience. The kitchen is putting out awesome food. Front of the house needs work. Fortunately a very rare experience in Denver’s food scene.
