El chef y restaurantero, Jonh Howie, presenta su restaurante estelar de cortes finos en el noroeste de Estados Unidos, sirviendo filetes de primera calidad USDA añejados, carne de res Wagyu estadounidense y australiano, carne A5 100% de Wagyu japonés, pescado y mariscos frescos de temporada proveniente del Pacífico, así como champiñones, verduras y frutas locales. Had a great experience having Dinner. Celebrated my wife's birthday with the family. Japanese Wagyu Steak was awesome and so was the entire experience of tableside Banana Fosters.

A Five-Star Experience with Oscar at John Howie Steak House I recently had the pleasure of dining at John Howie Steak House, and I must say, the experience was elevated by the exceptional service provided by our server, Oscar. From the moment we were seated, Oscar’s warm and welcoming demeanor made us feel right at home. He was incredibly attentive without being overbearing, ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout the evening. His knowledge of the menu was impressive—he helped guide us through the wine list and offered spot-on recommendations for food pairings that truly enhanced our meal. Oscar's timing was perfect: he anticipated our needs, whether it was refilling our drinks or checking in after each course, and he did so with a genuine smile. He even offered thoughtful suggestions on dessert, making sure we ended the meal on a sweet note. What really stood out, though, was Oscar's personal touch. He made the entire dining experience feel special, engaging with us in a way that was both professional and friendly. It’s clear that he takes pride in his work, and that made all the difference. If you’re fortunate enough to have Oscar as your server, you’re in for a treat. He truly exemplifies what great service is all about—attentive, knowledgeable, and full of personality. The Tempura bacon w/maple sauce is the best! The steaks are consistently cooked with pinkness as ordered, and very flavorful and tender and lean. Our server provided perfect service. Always very pleased with this nice restaurant!

We went on a Thursday night for the 3-course prix fixe dinner advertised on open table as $51 per person but the pricing was higher at the restaurant - about $76 per person before tax and tip. Food and service were great, just felt the experience advertised was misleading.

The bar and dining room were boisterous, and we could not think or converse normally. We asked to be moved to a quieter local but still very noisy

I had high expectations for John Howie Steak in Bellevue, given its reputation and pricing. Unfortunately, both the food and service fell short. Our Wagyu steak was burned on the outside but still raw inside—not the quality you’d expect at this level. The service felt rushed throughout the evening. Our waiter seemed in a hurry and even brought us the check along with dessert, which made us feel like we were being pushed out. For the price, I expected a much more refined and enjoyable dining experience

Party of two celebrating a good friend’s birthday. We enjoyed the Chef’s special Filet Mignon - it was cooked to perfection - flavor, tenderness - AMAZING! We were well taken care of from the time we arrived until we departed. Superb service! If you really want a fine dining experience without emptying your wallet you could not do better than John Howie. Thank You for a wonderful celebration.

Sat down and waited ten minutes before we were given water. About another ten minutes later till we had a waiter come to our table. Ordered an appetizer and never received it. Brought out dinner and our drinks were empty did not acknowledge or ask if we wanted refills. No one came by to check how the food was or if we needed anything. Automatic 20% tip was added for a party of 3 with the worst service I have had at an upscale restaurant, very disappointing will not eat here again.
