John Howie Steak features two wood fired grills, mesquite charcoal and applewood that add subtle flavors to the foods. The wine list features a "Best of Award of Excellence" from Wine Spectator. We came for dinner after seeing Johns Facebook appeal. We wanted to support local business during this challenge time with the corona virus. We had a lovely evening and everything was perfect. Our server, Michael, made rue experience five-star.

Appetizers were great. We ordered the filet flight, medium rare, to share. It was brought out and cut into halves. They were blue and then put back on the grille and they were rare and chewy since they had to be cut into. We expected more for $145 steaks.

Everything from beginning to end was amazing! Service is always on-point, food was so fresh and tasty. It was a perfect evening for us to celebrate a birthday.
