My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at John Howie's eight years ago and had a great dining experience. Last Friday, we decided to stay in Bellevue and celebrate our thirteenth wedding anniversary at John Howie's and we had a blast! The service was amazing and we really enjoyed the food. Thank you so much for making our night so special!

Alway excellent service, food and ambiance. Perfectly cooked filet mignon Oscar style was delicious. When I ordered deserts I didn’t know they were comp’d found out when check was presented. Deserts were good but the tarts shells the lemon pie and the Carmel ganache were served in were over cooked, inedible but the insides were delicious! I love the place which is why I return.

Everything was great except ordered medium rare and steak was medium well. They took care of it and comp'd the steak. Other than that, all ok.

Fantastic service and a wonderful experience. Tried the Wagyu steak sampler (Japanese, Australian and USA) and while I am glad I tried it, I'll stick with their standard, but excellent, steaks in the future. I order my steaks served rare, and perhaps this temperature does no allow the marbling in the Wagyu meat to reduce enough. The steaks were amazingly tender, but the flavor was overly rich. One of the steaks was salted too much, but the server had that one removed from our bill. The overall service was just right - there hovering around when you wanted but not there when you didn't need anything. We were there for our anniversary and the staff helped make the occasion even more special.

After spending almost $2,000, the floor manager came up to our table while I was in the bathroom and told my son that there would be no more alcohol served to our table. We had a couple cocktails each and 2 very expensive bottles of wine between 5 adults. While I do understand alcohol service can be subjective, I don't believe we were anywhere near the need of being refused, both based on quantity consumed and our behavior, but it was the tactic used by the manager that I felt completely disrespected my family. When I approached him about his decision, he was rude and short to me. Left a zero tip because of him and will never subject my family, or my wallet, to that nonsense again. Daniel's is better anyway...

Best steaks in Seattle/Bellevue. A little pricey but you can choose to have a $50 steak or a $150 Steak.

We have two private rooms available to take care of your needs. Both rooms can accomodate presentations viewed through 50" plasma flat screens, just bring in your lap top and plug in. Our Magnum room can accomodate up to 16 guests, and our Jeroboam room can accomodate up to 32 guests.
