   Great place for seafood, my kids always enjoy it after the beach. It’s super casual and great for large groups.

   We were less than impressed with the hostess stand— weak greeting, no recognition motion of our Open Table reservation, way too casual and uninviting. Fortunately we had a great server who was attentive to every need, served everything in good timing and was simply delightful! The food was delicious!

   My reservation was for 7:45. The hostess younger female was all over the place. Sat a party’s whose reservation was at 8:00 before me. Same amount of people of my party. The other hostess an older black female, I didn’t catch her name but she was very nice. She apologized and wiped down a table for us sat us and even got our drink order. We were there to celebrate my son’s birthday, that was missed. The waitress didn’t refill our drinks and the food came out cold. It’s not worth it. Save your time and money.

   Came in with my wife for anniversary dinner and totally ignored by staff, waited 20 mins, then got up and approached an employee to ask if we could get service. This person seemed surprised we were even there and then the lady that was working our section was pandering to the larger groups and seemingly everyone else but us. It took 40 mins for us to get our food after this. We don't know her name because she never gave it or had a name tag on. This experience made us wonder why we didn't just leave. My wife who was from Maryland had her heart set on a crabcake. She said it was full of more filler than crabmeat. For future reference, don't eat at Joe's crabshack if u want great service on the seawall in galveston, go to IHOP and ask for evonne, she was great. Do better joe

   Server didn't take order correctly Son asked for extra sauce but didn't get it. My order was not correct. When paying he threw my credit card at him. Rude waiter. We were respectful and didn't complain. However I had to ask other servers for water several times. Food was a little spicy

   Cambiaron el menú. Sigue siendo el mismo sabor, diferente presentación. El café espantoso.

   The food portions for the price was unbelievable. And the waiters take the plates away when you’re still eating i don’t know if it’s to get you to order more. Starters that cost $20 is only a little bit of food. I wouldn’t recommend this location at least.

    Their buckets are great but don’t order fish plates here guys it’s dry and awful and they forget the sauce!!
