   Staff very welcoming and accommodated us well with our 7month old guest in a pram. The brunch menu was really lovely and a bit different to most. food was tasty well presented. We had the chicken penirli, very tasty. Good ambience - busy but not too noisy. A really comfortable place for a casual get together

   Very disappointing group dinner. It was a Monday night and we had preordered food, but it still took ages. Really slow, inattentive service. Drinks and food were actually ok, except the desserts which were mostly left uneaten by our group. There was also an incident during the evening where another diner had an allergic reaction which greatly affected the flow, vibe and everything else...

   Very stylish cafe interior, food was delicious, easy to book. Toilets not as nice as main cafe, but a minor point. Lovely high ceilings and ambiance. Would go back.

   I’d rate Joan poor to be frank. The food was not tasty. Out of 5 items ordered we only liked 1. Also what is it with the tiny portions?? We ordered a small platter for £10 and it was literally not even worth calling it a starter, forget small platter. I’m not sure what the hype is about. We did not like the food, food quality nor the portion sizes. Definitely not coming back or recommending. Staff was attentive so that was good.

   Aweful... table booked for 1.30pm didn't recieve our food until 3pm. Had to go up to staff several times regarding wait. Alot of the food was not available. Very short staffed, food mediocre. Overall not great and would not go back.

   Not sure if that day specifically they were understaff or something but we waited for so long to get our plates which were disappointing as the 'loaded' sourdough wasn't loaded at all.... And the poached egg was hard boiled, not runny at all. We asked for runny eggs and after an hour of waiting, our dish were obviously cold, the eggs never arrived. The waitress was apologetic and the issue seemed to be in the kitchen. We got a good discount but not worth it to be honest.

   Over priced drinks, a small bottle of beer was £6 as they were out of draft. Over priced food which was obviously microwaved as it came out within 10 minutes of us ordering. Staff knew nothing about the food and described the steak’s weight in grams… instead of ounces Style over substance.

    Really disappointing brunch experience. The food was basic and badly cooked. My friends’ poached eggs came hard boiled. When we asked for them to be done correctly, it took over 20 mins to get them. We did the bottomless brunch that should have been Prosecco. I don’t know they have us (decantered into jugs!) but it wasn’t Prosecco. It was flat, a weird pale colour and really bitter. It took them over 45 mins to bring us our other drinks and another 30-45 minutes to get some coffees and the bill. Just overall an incredibly disappointing experience.
