Our go to is the rock shrimp tempura but we have rarely had a miss with their menu. Today the shrimp was a bit greasy. This is the first time this has happened. We’ve been coming here since they opened and will continue to do so. Staff if very friendly and accommodating. The room is beautiful.

I let them know that I had a seed oil, allergies when I ordered. I was told the food was cooked in soybean oil, and I asked my food not be cooked in it. The waitress came back into the chef said he could not do that, and that I could order sushi if I wanted. Of course that upset me because I, have been to many restaurants that have accommodated me. The manager came over and I told him that I expected my food to be cooked in a non-seed oil and he said I could order the salmon, again, not happy that I’m being told what I can order. I ordered the salmon. He grabbed the menu and walked away and a half. I realize he didn’t even ask me what I wanted. I wanted the salmon cooked. Of course the salmon came and it was almost raw. So I sent it back in order to salad as there were about four vegetables that came with the undercooked salmon. So I told him my frustration and he told me “the chef recommends, salmon that way”. It just kept getting better. I got my bill and it was almost $90. I will never eat at this restaurant again. Their managers are arrogant and have no interest in accommodating Customer. As a no, soybean oil, grapeseed oil, canola oil are all extremely bad for the human digestive system.

We'd asked for a quiet table, and it was until a party of 10 or 12 was seated by us, after which it was impossible to hear my across-the-table companion. Also, forks were removed after the first course and not replaced. When I informed our server that we had taken tablewear from a nearby empty table, there was no apology or acknowledgment of an oversight. In the past, when Winnie was the manager, we were offered a comp for a future visit for a similar oversight.
