We stopped by for a late lunch upon arrival in Durango. Lovely bar area and great wait staff. Food was fine. Purchased bread and baked goods as a splurge and weren’t impressed.

The food was excellent and the service very good. We've had poor service before and were pleasantly surprised.

This place is worth the drive if you are anywhere in southern Colorado. Jean-Pierre makes the best croissants every and make sure to bring a baguette home. The cafe is right downtown in lovely Durango. You can walk around to work off some of the calories after lunch or breakfast. Their pastries are to die for. We love to go for breakfast. Omelettes are authentic french beauties and other egg dishes and quiche are terrific. Their espresso is not the best, but I may be kind of picky on that. The atmosphere is wonderful old fashioned wood and shelves full of baked goods to catch your imagination. Service may be slow, but you shouldn't be in a hurry when you come here anyway.

Nice live piano some nights. Food is very good. Depending on number of dinners, the service can be laid back but our last visit we got excellent service since is was not crowded. Prices are a little bit high but you often get what you pay for elsewhere. Would highly recommend pastries, croissants and galletes there. Understand breakfasts are very good but not cheap

The French bread and dips were fabulous! Our main courses were very good and the server was kind enough to do separate checks for our group of 8! Unfortunately the restaurant had no one to tend bar and only one server to handle everything. She did the best she could.

Almost everything was great, I would just love to have the chef/kitchen prepare the steak tartare, rather than getting all the ingredients delivered to the table and one having to try to figure out the best combination/amounts, etc...

Average food but very expensive would avoid going there. There are better places in the town like carvers brewing co and Denver diner
