We were there for a special Cinco de Mayo dinner. The food was outstanding as was the service. The Mariachis were beautiful. We had a great time. The service, ambience and food are always wonderful at Jean-Georges and we love going there.

We had higher expectations. The idea behind this fine dining establishment is to raise the bar, levels of all aspects. From food, to ambience, to service . It felt a bit short in all of these elements.

Service and ambience was great as usual but we were so disappointed by the food. What happened??? We have been here many times for special holidays and regular dining. The food used to be really good. Unfortunately, there was not one thing on the menu that was even remotely good. Everything tasted bad. Also our steaks were supposed to be cooked medium and were well done. Easter brunch was horrible. Not sure if they have a new chef.

Open Table falsely advertises this restaurant. It is not “under $30”. You can hardly find a cocktail that is under $30. This restaurant is white table cloth fare - caviar and wagyu filets - served in a beautiful environment inside the Waldorf Astoria hotel. It is NOT one of of the food hall concepts.

Love the food and location, but it is very unfortunate that groups of greater than 4 in size are still limited to only 2 BYO bottles of wine. We don't mind paying $65 corkage per bottle because we bring quality older wines that we can decant at home and bring to the restaurant ready to drink, but the strict policy limitation on 2 bottles means we will go to other restaurants when dining with greater than 4 wine lovers. Buying wine off of a short wine list that has mostly too-young wines to drink makes no sense for trying to enjoy a quality meal with friends. If JG can't make money on $65 corkage, something is wrong. FYI: There is no supplemental buy one off the list, open a 3rd BYO bottle for $65 corkage at JG. And there is no policy that provides for an upcharge to $80 corkage for the 3rd or greater # of bottles. Each alternative policy is offered by other quality restaurants we've visited.

I wouldn't necessarily recommend this place. Not for breakfast, at least. My wife and I had the American breakfast and it was nothing to write home about. At the end of the day, I know that there's not much you can do with bacon, eggs, potatoes, and toast but for the price, it just wasn't worth it.

Everything at that restaurant is pleasant. Not enough vegetarian dishes but I was satisfied. The service is attentive but no rushed. My friends had the lamb chops, they raved about it. My only complaint would be the cost of parking. It always annoys me to go to an expensive restaurant and then having to pay $20 parking for two hours and then increases every 15 minutes. I suppose being a hotel in Beverly Hills entitles them to that. I still resent it.

Valentine Day experience. Disappointing. We are regular customers but the experience was poor. Hostess never looked us in the eye. Barely acknowledge us after telling us ‘I’ll be with you in a second”. Food portions were so small…..nothing but a bite each. We left hungry. Poorly executed. Unusual for JG.

Jean-Georges of Beverly Hills, located at the Waldorf Astoria is one of the most elegant restaurants. The food is wonderful and creative, the service is fabulous and they honor reservations perfectly. If you want a romantic dinner, this is one of the best places to go in Beverly Hills.

Jean-Georges is excellent in presentation, ambiance, and service. Their staff is accommodating and thoughtful to your needs. Waiters and staff are attentive, and they work well as a team to service your table. You aren’t being disrupted but there appear to be 3-5 wait staff who take care of you while dining. The ambiance is low warm light, and high quality leather chairs and couches that are comfortably distanced from other patrons, (which I feel is uncommon in recent times). The pictures online do not do the restaurant justice. 30 ft high ceilings, floor to ceiling glass, clever elegant design and decoration, with a traditional dining layout. It is a very comfortable place to spend an evening. The food was excellent, and the cocktails were well balanced. We ordered the cheese ravioli and requested to have them split as an appetizer, and the presentation in the plates made us realize the level of fine dining being provided. The staff and restaurant will do what they can in reasonable fashion to accommodate you. Next was the encrusted salmon. My wife had never been happier with the texture and flavor of a salmon filet! She loved the leek and butter sauce, and paired well with the white wine. I enjoyed the colorado lamb with broccolini. The lamb was perfectly cooked, but in my opinion lamb doesn’t require any sauce and it was still excellently crafted. We shared the wild mushrooms, which I recommend but we felt that these were a little under seasoned. The luxurious experience of the Waldorf Astoria supports the excellence that Jean-Georges provides with dignity and humility. We will be coming back to enjoy the food and service again many times over!

Pre-Covid we thought the restaurant quality was fading and we stopped going. We decided to give it a second chance and are very happy we did. It will now be added back to our small circle of fine dining options in LA.

The regular JG tasting menu is far superior. The progression and pairings made no sense. Food was forgettable and fairly basic. Not at all what we were expecting. The showcase item was jidori chicken and it was served raw in the center. How did this chef get any Michelin stars?

Wasn’t clear that entire group must order the Winter menu or everyone orders from the menu. Wine pairings were nice but not exceptional and explanation by the Sommelier was rushed. Was on the bucket list and now is done. Probably won’t repeat.

Had the Christmas dinner 3 course meal for $250pp. The seabass was dry and the gingerbread dessert was too sweet. $500 excl tax and gratuity for 2ppl you should walk away at least full, but we ended up going to a pizza shop afterwards. Was going to come here for new years eve but after this not anymore.

Unfortunately not what we were expecting this time for Christmas 🎄 special Eve celebration for that cost. Bill was nearly $600 with drinks as sparking water and tea, which we think should be included at that cost already. Already at pre fixed menus restaurants for that price at least champagne included, nothing . We also felt dishes were small and don’t and should not cost that much and believe as well 20% of Tios should not be included automatically, since prices already forcefully that hight. We would like some money back , because feel This time like being ripped off .

Very slow service .. we waited for our waiter most of the time. Very small portions. Toast caviar was superb. Didn’t feel welcome in our neighborhood like we did in the past and the menu used to be better.

Thanksgiving 2022 was superb experience! Our table had the lobster, steak and turkey for mains.Steak was perfect temperature , the lobster was juicy, and Turkey was tender and warm! The entertainment volume good enough to carry a good conversation. The staff was attentive from the hostesses to sommelier, and our server was most gracious and turned our dinner into an experience! Although there was a delay with the drinks, which we ordered at the bar since we were 15min early, the manager took full responsibility made no excuses nor attitude and took care of us! Talk about excellent service! The last thanksgiving dinner we had here 3 years ago I remember was just as good. I’ll keep coming back. Kudos to the Kitchen staff! Thank you Jean-George’s staff for another fantastic dinner.

Thanks giving was perfect and the staff were excellent . The music was nice and toned down and the food was great . We are a picky crowd that like to make changes and the wait staff were accommodating and so nice . They made the evening special.
