Named for award-winning chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, this fine dining restaurant specializes in French-American cuisine prepared with organic and locally sourced ingredients. The world-class menu includes South American flavors and European classics for a unique farm-to-table experience. Breakfast is a modern twist on the traditional, featuring buttermilk pancakes, fluffy omelets, coconut and chia seed pudding, and acai bowls. Octopus was too salty. Ordered the cod, the fish was served with a strong fish odor. Cod was replaced with a 12 oz NY Strip. The strip was not very good, meat was tough. Really disappointed. I love the restaurant.

Amazing. Amongst the best Meals I have ever had and I have had the pleasure of dining at some very fine restaurants including Melisse in Santa Monica, L’Orangerie on LaCienega back in the 80s, DelPosto and Il Mulino in NYC, Le Cirque in NYC and Vegas to name a few. Jean George in BH ranks amongst the best. The setting is gorgeous, the waiter was very professional and knowledgeable. He accomplished what I think is very hard to do and that is to be there when you need him and not be there when you don’t. If a server can do that, they know what they are doing. The only thing I found unpleasant was that the two girls up front, the hostesses, were rather snooty. Kind of talking down to you. That was unpleasant. But other than that, it was fantastic. Highly recommend the tasting menu. It was superb. It is an expensive restaurant but worth it.

We went for Sunday brunch, and elected to sit outside. Unfortunately, the traffic noise from the intersection of Wilshire and Santa Monica Boulevards was quite obtrusive. The menu was pretty standard . . . no dishes that might be considered creative . . . but the food we had was exceptionally well prepared, and expensive ... which we had anticipated. Service was exceptional as well. So, it was a mixed experience, but we will probably not encourage our friends to try it. If we do, we will suggest that they dine indoors.

Been twice. First time the food was D- service was D-
But it was the second day they were open so I decided to try it again.

Reservation was at 9 my table was ready at 10.

Left and went to the polo lounge.

I would recommend the same.

Also went for my birthday.

Excellent ambiance, excellent food and service was great. Our waiter Greg was very attentive from the moment we walked in. We were very happy with him.
I highly recommend Chef's special dessert wine ( sparkling champagne).

Fail to impress or inspire. I travel the world and love to eat at Michelin restaurants. Was fortunate enough to experience quite few., from Lyon to Paris, Hong Kong and USA. This newer restaurant in Bh fail to impress. We went for dine la menu just to see what courses will be selected for people to comeback. I can’t point to one dish that I truly enjoyed. Lemon jello with caviar was by far the worst of them all. Poor quality off farm raised caviar from Bulgaria even if Petrosian put their name on it was salty, fishy and lemon jello had no choice by overpower caviar taste. Definitely very bad combination. Scallop was cut in half and small, combination with grilled cauliflower was Interesting. Sauce way to spicy for this dish. Would of being ok without sauce. Truffle shaved on top of seabass in mushroom base soup had no taste. What a disaster. Even 3 pieces of black truffle couldn’t save it. Lamp chops was on the different spectrum extreme. Lamp was to salty, mushrooms on top to salty and I love salty food, I love lamb and l love mushroom. Disappointing. Desert was nice, but I am not a big desert person. Sparkling water was Excellent, decor is grandiose, contemporary and fancy. Overall meal was very very disappointing. After going to Patina, Spago, Melisse and Providence, Jean George is exceptionally mediocre.

Wonderful dinner for my daughters 23rd birthday! Our waiter was great, excellent recommendations for food and wine. Only issue was I had put in my reservation that we were celebrating her birthday but it was never acknowledged. Not a real problem as we had a lovely time, will definitely be back.

This was my first visit to Jean-Georges Beverly Hills. We booked at the last minute, so we sat outside on the patio. We could have waited for the interior if we wanted. However the patio was great with heaters keeping us comfortable. The food was great. I had a veal chop Milanese that was truly delicious. My companion had a pizza topped with avocado that had incredible depth of flavor and I was quite pleased to be able to enjoy some of it as well. The wine list is well appointed and we were please with our selection of a Guigal Côte-Rôtie. The service was great. I was very pleased with my visit and will definitely be returning again soon.

Our threesome enjoyed the opulent and relaxing atmosphere at the beautiful new Waldorf Astoria Hotel. The food was excellent, with one exception...the delicious fried chicken was served with a much-too-spicy aoli sauce. But servers removed the sauce and freshened my order with the chicken and a fresh cup of spinach. The chicken was very tasty, but if I ordered it again I would have the sauce on the side! Meanwhile, the special birthday plate was a wonderful surprise. Magnifique!

Hands down the best food in LA. Truffle pizza is the only one that tops Mozza's. The service was 10/10. Can't fault this place.

Jean George at the Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills was classy, modern, and very nice. The staff was very accommodating from the valet, hostess, waiter and servers at the Jean George restaurant and rooftop restaurant. The food, ambiance and service were all excellent. Ordered the butternut squash soup with crepe fraiche and Calamari for appetizers. And the Islandic Salmon with sishedo peppers and side of mashed potatoes. We later went to the rooftop for dessert and drinks sitting outdoors with gorgeous views of Beverly Hills, Hollywood Hills and Century City. It was a cool sunny January day in 90210 and I love it! Will come again
